Friday night at Angelica’s, I met the owner Peter for my first time there. He gave me a tour of the restaurant. They have seating in the back patio as well as inside and upstairs. Private rooms for parties are available upstairs. This is a family owned business with a wonderful staff. That night, I saved my best meal for last. The presentation was appealing and my salmon with asparagus was flavorsome and divine. Great place to take someone on a dinner date with a show. Bonus the Escovedo’s were performing. #foodies #angelicas #redwoodcity

We always enjoy Angelica's. Mother's Day was no exception. It was a very busy, crowded day on Sunday. There was a.bit of a wait...even with reservations, but that is only a testament to how much everyone enjoys being there. No one really complained. It was well worth the wait. The ambiance (we were on the lovely garden patio), the staff and the food were all fantastic! We've been coming to Angelica's since they opened. We have never been disappointed. 💐😍💕

Brunch was busy, food was awesome. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was very flavorful and juicy. The egg Benedict was also very good and the hollandaise sauce was fresh and creamy. The signature pancakes were okay, it was a short stack only two pancakes with powered sugar, cinnamon and some jelly like topping.

Today morning we felt like having a good Sunday breakfast to a new restaurant which we have not tried before... heard about Angelica's @ Redwood City for awhile so thought of checking it out .... It's been close to a decade since we have not been to Redwood City so we were very excited to check it out & stroll the downtown area .... We had an early start so relatively very less traffic on 101 reached within 20 mins ... which was a breeze!!! We heard that Angelicas gets very busy so reservations are recommended but we just did a walk in ( as we were there by 7.45 am ). Parking was relatively easy being Sunday street parking was free so was very happy about that!!! I was so excited to see the multiple seating options here but finally choose to sit inside the restaurant since it was little chilly. First impression as we walked in beautifully decorated especially inside & the courtyard which had a heater. If I had come late afternoon I would have definitely choose outdoor seating ( courtyard) . As soon as we sat we asked for coffee to warm up, I took one sip & felt sooo good really needed it.... was looking forward to taste the food.... We ordered few items from the menu- Corn Beef Hash & Chilaquiles which took some time to come meanwhile we were enjoying the music. Given that we were the first customer in the restaurant to order we got the food lukewarm which was little disappointing.... Both the food was looking good but lacked in flavor I found my dish Chilaquiles to be little tart for my palate, I tried eating it with country potatoes ( which was good) to balance it. Overall we felt the food was ok will come back again to try other food from their menu after some time for second try with reservations. Afterwards we went for a stroll to check out the downtown area which we really enjoyed had a lovely Sunday morning!!!

Great food, drinks, service and ambiance! I’m only sad I don’t live closer to eat here more often. Definitely will be back when I visit the city. You won’t be disappointed. The flavors are unmatched!

Angelicas is a beautiful restaurant - the decor inside and outside in the courtyard is worth seeing. We did make brunch reservations beforehand, and came to try the vegan chilaquiles. It was bomb! Good flavors, hit the spot. I'm a spicy gal, so of course, I did add hot sauce to the dish. But, overall an awesome spot and friendly staff!

I came here on a Thursday afternoon with my friends and I definitely recommend using the reservation system so you don't have to wait when you come here since they seat you immediately. Good: Loved the huevos rancheros! They tasted super good, probably one of the better ones I've had in the area, and the portion size was actually just perfect for me. The ambiance is great here too - a really clean and upscale place, yet the prices are reasonable. Bad: I thought that the wait times were longer than what I was used to, but otherwise the whole experience was good. Overall I felt like the whole experience was really good, from the service to the food. Would come again.

We were there for the 1st time to celebrate my friends Birthday. We were walk ins and were seated fairly quick. Within 10 mins or less. The table was on the side patio. Excellent location. We ordered 2x appetizers the delicious squid and the fried cheese with the meat and chips. Both really good. (see the pics). Since we like to try different things. For the Entry we had the Bass and the delicious juicy Steak.. The real sweet lady who took care of us (Sam) brought a surprise ice cream dessert with a candle for my birthday girl. That was a classy touch by her and she gets 10 Stars. To finish things off we had the "delicious dessert" I cant recall the name. But by looking at the pic I want another one right now. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because they do not offer any soups. Please add this to the menu. Bottom line the service was very good and the food was great. Enjoy your meal and time there. Thanks

Yo, where is my hollandaise sauce? No where to be found but I didn't NOtice until I was 75% done and tipsy from bottomless mimosas. 🤣 So it's good as hell! Skip the pancakes and get the sliders.

This place is a gem and never fails to impress. The food is delicious, the outdoor seating makes me feel like I'm in a whimsical forest & the service is always really great! Oh & they have some of the best bread pudding I've ever had.
