Diego's Spirited Kitchen

The food is SO good! My son called it a balanced taste and it really is. I had Carnitas and it was so succulent! My husband had the fajitas - YUM! My son had a grilled Veggie Burrito and there was some great stuff in there! Asparagus, Broccoli, mushrooms and a lot more. It was very tasty! I don't think you can go wrong here. Best restaurant in town!

We went to Diego‘s last night at the recommendation of a family member. I am so happy that we did! Upon entering the restaurant, we could instantly tell that we were going to have a great experience. Everyone inside seemed to be very happy and enjoying their meals. The wait staff was very attentive to our needs and the atmosphere was fantastic! The chips and salsa was phenomenal as was the tableside guacamole! All of our meals were excellent. Unfortunately, everything was so perfect and we were so eager to dive in, We did not think to take photographs of all the fantastic dishes. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant numerous times in the future.

We’re traveling through town and we found this spot. Food was AMAZING, service was great. Parking is a little tough because it’s mostly street parking but worth the walk. I ordered the Halibut Steak and my brother got the Veggie Burrito. Some incredible tasting food. The fish was moist and delicious and I heard the burrito was superb. I definitely recommend this spot

Surprised when we stopped for an early dinner, at 5:45 the dining room was already full and we had to wait for a table. Service was great. We had a margarita and shared seafood enchiladas (one plate was plenty of food for two). Chocolate cake for dessert was delicious with a fudge like frosting on a dark devils food cake. Two of us couldn't finish it all. I could imagine on a cool winters day with a hot cup of coffee it would be perfect.

Diego's is a long-time favorite of ours. We adore the chicken mole, which is sweet and savory without being picante (we don't do well with spicy). The menu is huge so you're sure to find something you'll like. We mostly ordered take-out through the pandemic so this was the first visit back to dining in. They have dividers between the tables now which gives some more privacy. Also about six tables outside on the back patio. Parking is on the main street and we've never had a problem finding a spot within a couple blocks. What a wonderful meal! The staff went out of their way to be kind, and the food was fantastic. The building was full, yet felt intimate, and our meal was unhurried (yet the service wasn't slow in any way, even with the crush) The salmon and the filet mignon were both excellent, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.

In this little town, I heard more locals recommend this place over any others, and I can see why. Yes its another Mexican restaurant, but they make some other amazing dishes, which is their uniqueness. A local gal living in town training to become a pilot highly recommended the seafood pasta Alfredo. It's totally flavorful! It's full of freash scallops , lobster, and shrimp. Other dishes looked incredible. Susper friendly staff too. Go try this place.
