I love this place - it’s bright, light, airy and cozy & inviting all at the same time. The shop & the restroom always clean. My oat cappuccino and black drip are consistent. I count on these every morning I’m in Redding. I usually get their house made almond butter toast and protein bowl as well. Both are fairly easy to eat in the car. I actually found a nice hotel close to this coffee shop to do overnights since I drive from San Francisco to Walla walla about once a month.

2.49 stars. The coffee is good, top 3 in Redding. For sure. But my issue is with the price. I understand inflation and cost of business. But $4 for a cup of black coffee is quite steep for our region. You can make a cup of “third wave coffee” at home, even factoring in the cost of a good machine, Chemex or Siphon coffee maker or for about $0.35-85. Now going to a coffee shop is a unique experience, that people, including myself cherish. But I can’t justify $4 for a simple cup of coffee. $3.5 was okay. Still on the higher end. But $4 looses my business. It cost the average “high end coffee shop” about $7 in labor, overhead and product to create one gallon of black coffee. At $4, provided that coffee is all used before a new batch must be made (3-4 hours) a typical gallon at $7 shop cost will net them $45. Now obviously the choice is yours. But I’d highly recommend just buying a bag of feast or other high quality coffee and making it at home.

A favorite spot. Adds a lot to downtown Redding. Excellent coffee and espresso drinks. Toast, poached eggs, waffles are all amazing. Some of the nicest people around. Excellent atmosphere.

Very trendy, cute cafe. The coffee was okay and pastries were tasty. Avocado toast was just a little too salty.

$9.60 for a croissant and 12oz drip coffee. It took 15 min to get the coffee. NOPE. Good quality but still not worth it.

Friendly staff and quick service! The coffee is delicious! Quite a small menu but they offer some unique options like chicory coffee! The setting is quite cute. Hipsters' paradise... unique coffee and beards as far as the eye can see.

Neat small space. Unique. Genuine. No pour overs. Local roasting. Cost is a little higher than market value. I got an oat milk Cortado. Hip space and design. Quick service.
