Chipotle Mexican Grill

Here we grow again. I am really in need of some real food.. with a ravaging appetite, actually a dreadful hunger since I missed lunch and it's now dinner time, I'm tempted to stop at the first food joint I come across. However; I pull to the side of the road and literally Google "real food to eat near me" I mean isn't Google the best! And lo and behold! Chipotle Mexican Grill pops up. I accept the results and tap the direction key. I typically ride share Chipotle for my daughter when she text me, "I'm hungry." As a matter of fact I have her order saved so with a couple of taps her Chipotle is delivered to her door front. Well, now it's Dad's turn. I enter through the double doors and there's a line. Actually, with their social distancing in place and cooperating patrons, the line to order food is backed up to the entrance doors. It doesn't matter, especially when I enter those doors and smell the flavorful fresh sauteed peppers and onions....to start. Incidentally the line is moving so fast that when it's my turn I'm still trying to decide from the wide variety of dishes and the options of how to have my dish served up. Because I still have a 20 minute drive ahead of me, leaving Waxahachie on the way to my Dallas hotel room, I decide to choose the bowl option. Oh man, I tell you building that bowl with all those options was like Christmas morning trying to decide which present to open first. I make my options, pay for my meal and I'm off to settle and enjoy my dinner. When I say fresh food that's because there are no other words to describe the palate-pleasing, well seasoned, fresh cooked and perfectly packaged meal from Chipotle Mexican Grill. Plenty of food for two meals and the cost, well if you want more bang for your buck and fresh cooked wholesome food Chipotle Mexican Grill, is a place where you get restaurant quality for fast food options. Grabbed veggie bowl for my wife who is vegetarian. There were chunks of steak in the fajita vegetables. If I wasn’t watching closely my vegetarian wife would have had steak in her veggie bowl. They made new fajita vegetables, although they didn’t seem happy about it. They removed the 5-10 steak chunks from the fajita vegetables and continued to serve them to new customers. I hope the new customers from that point on aren’t vegetarian! No complaints on my chicken burrito.

Dirtiest Chipotle line I've seen in a while. The visible prep area wasn't any better. Worker uniforms dirty and unkempt. Employees looked miserable except for one very nice, enthusiastic young man. My food was cold and not very flavorful, not typical of Chipotle. The barbacoa was not shredded at all but instead came in huge chunks with fat. At check out the cashier forgot to put my chips in the bag. The line was to the door and there were literally 3 forks stocked.

1 bad apple ruins the bunch. the short cute guy with all the tats, yea he a ten but that attitude ain't fine. EVERYBODY else that works the food line, the register, and all the workers cooking and prepping, I NEVER saw a sour face until Shorty. I hope you had a legit reason for being such a sourpuss that day and not wanting to be at work is NOT one of them. other than that the food,drinks, customer service is on point and definitely deserves a 5 star rating, that 1 bad apple though....

I really would expect to have more than 1 person working the front? But I walked in and only 1 girl doing the meat, veggies and check out? Hugely disappointed, it's rare when I come here because it's a drive and then to have to wait extra time because 1 person is doing the whole process. Also slows down the line which happened as the customer in front of me had 3 different orders.
