Food was great and very fresh. The location is small, but the decor is very welcoming. Definitely recommend making reservations ahead of time as they tend to allocate specific tables to regulars. We weren't greeted when entering initially, but otherwise the service was above and beyond. Nothing entrees werte delicious and tool about 20 minutes to prepare. We also shared the kale salad with raisins and roasted pine nuts which was a perfect appetizer. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for fresh, homemade pastas.

Fine dining at it's best. Such an amazing menu and a talented chef. Food is unlike any other restaurant I've been to. This is next level food here.

The evening we visited we both went vegetarian so we had a limited experience. We each had a couple glasses of wine which was great but a little skimpy. The waitress ran out when filling my second glass and didn't bother to open another bottle. It was skimpy! I should have complained but I hate complaining in a restaurant. We each had a Kale salad which was fresh but far from the best I've had, and an entre portion of three veggies. They were very good but also not really special. Being a bread lover I did not like that they served their bread, very good garlic bread, only a tiny sliver at a time. However we had plenty to eat. I noticed the portion size of other diners that were eating meat, they were typical of high-end restaurants. Given the above, and the simple rustic decor, I think the Owners are reaching a tad with their pricing. Because of the limited selection of restaurants up here, and what we ordered, I would give them a second try.

My family eats out every Sunday evening for dinner in the Hudson Valley so we are well accustomed to how to get the most bang for your buck and what’s actually worth it. The atmosphere in this place is wonderful, the staff were very friendly but could have been more attentive. Our hesitancy was primarily with the food and the cost. I ordered the special which consisted of a tail piece of salmon which was over cooked and dry with no sauce just plain, pea greens (no dressing just on the plate), and lentils once again with no seasoning; $36. The ravioli was delicious but $18. We had wine and apps and dessert per usual but there was not a big wow or “we have to come back moment.” We make fresh pasta at home and love coming out for the experience. But when a box of pasta costs $1 at tops it makes you wonder what your really paying for especially for a sub par meal. All in all we spent just under $200 for two people and were not very impressed.

We ate here 3 times. The food was all right but certainly not great! The portions were skimpy. The wine and water glasses were covered in lint. During downtime the staff would stare at the diners. The seating on the front porch was extremely uncomfortable. For what this place charges one can find much better in other towns nearby. It's about as un-Italian as one can find.

Octoous appetizer was excellent; entree decent; service was lackluster. Overall, a decent, homey atmosphere on the one little room, but a bit too many tables crammed in there and only one single-person bathroom for 25-30 diners. The cuisine is not the problem, the rest of the experience is not on par with the food.

Amazing! We went here and had amazing food. Cute atmosphere, wonderful staff, and most importantly scrumptious food! Had the hanger steak and was blown away at how tender and wonderfully it was cooked. If I'm ever back in red hook I will be trying to stop here again!
