This review is long overdue, but I never remember to leave reviews after I go places!
Was passing through on my way home from a Hudson Valley trip. Stopped in for some coffee and the baked goods looked so tempting I grabbed some of those too. The pastries and the crumble topped pies were awesome! Everything was so fresh and very tasty. The pie crust was flakey and flavorful and not like the cardboard pie crust so many places have!
The atmosphere is open and airy and feels super welcoming. Will definitely be back!

We catered brunch for a baby shower- it was delicious food and Julianne was great to work with! She answered all my questions and concerns. The portions were big and everyone loved the food! It was wonderful!

Our visit to Red Hook was made even more special by Julianne and her staff. Our breakfast was amazing and the coffee to savor. I now only drink their coffee😊 and we look forward to try more of there savory dishes on our next visit. Thank you J&J Gourmet Cafe.

I love lunching here when I'm in Red Hook. Breakfast and brunch look awesome too. Fresh, friendly and delicious...bring your laptop, your co-workers, get cozy in a corner, or pick up a quiche to go. It all tastes and feels homey.

Really delicious, (like home cooked!) Thanksgiving side dishes. This is my 3rd or 4th year in a row I have ordered the Thanksgiving sides from J&J. The stuffing is great, the root vegetables, string beans and amazing brussel sprouts are fabulous. My family adores the mashed potatoes (and gravy) and I love the sweet potatoes. Everything is always ready, carefully packed, very fairly priced and made with care. Julliane answers all your questions and gives her expert culinary advice.

Very good menu with alot of choices. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with plants and an outdoor seating area. Self service mostly. The food is exquisite and portions are fair. Good coffee, pastries, and cold salads. Highly recommended.
