Took the family out Thursday evening to the Islands restaurant. First time to visit. Surprisingly, greeted at the door by a very friendly young lady. We where seated immediately. The table was perfect in size and well lit. The drink order was taken quickly. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. During our meal they consistently filled our drinks so we never ran out. They gladly brought us water with lemon as we requested. The menu is very diverse and everyone in the family enjoyed their meal. There's something for everyone my grandkids were with us and they all enjoyed their meals. A large variety of items for kids and adults and some unusual items that are just absolutely delicious. To start the meal we ordered some appetizers which were wonderful and a generous size.My wife ordered a hamburger which was really good and cooked exactly the way she requested. I ordered the chicken tacos that contain some pineapple and that was wonderful too. The Islands restaurant is A.D.A. compatible including the restrooms for easy access. We will definitely return to this restaurant when in town long. My grandkids by the way had the macaroni and cheese and a grilled cheese sandwiches with french fries. All Good!

Islands Restaurant has been around for quite a bit, and this particular location has survived the Ontario Mills, Victoria Gardens and numerous pop-up restaurants in the area. After my recent visit to Islands it's no surprise as to why this place is still in business. The plate I ordered was delicious and the service was on point. They have chicken, pork and fish tacos. I ordered the grilled fish taco plate. They came with corn tortillas, stuffed with cabbage, cilantro, chipotle-white sauce, & diced tomatoes. With my order I got a side of pico-de-gallo and ranchero beans. The food was tasty and satisfying. The service was also excellent as our waitress (whom I had a hard time pronouncing) was constantly checking on our table. We were also greeted when we walked into the facility and waved good-bye when we left. My wife and I commented afterwards on how we were glad we decided to go there. Kudos to the staff!!

I had forgotten about Islands, used to go here over a decade ago. It hasn't really changed at all. They have good burgers (including the Impossible Burger), chicken sandwiches (I like the Toucan), salads, tacos, tortilla soup, etc... I think they have unlimited fries too. Islands doesn't have as wide a beer selection as a few places over at Victoria Gardens, but they do have some good beers on tap. The "knuckle head factor" is lower than some of the other burger bars in the area. It's mostly couples and families. I'll be going here more often.

Absolutely disgusting. My Cheddar Fries tasted as if they were put into a microwave and just splattered cheese on top. Even my party’s burgers and fries were not good. All our burgers were smothered in mustard and the bacon on my own burger was burnt to a crisp. Party member’s fries were cut so small they were basically bits and no fries at all! This place used to be a joy, and now, I’ll never be coming back.

What is your favorite burger spot in southern California? Some will say In N Out, some will say Wendy's, some will say Farmer Boys. While those restaurants are close to my heart, they cant steal it away from Islands. From the time you go inside, relaxation and great food awaits you. With a cherry coke, I always order the Kilaeua Burger, medium with added avocado. Sometimes I'll get fries but their fries are also quite tasty. But I haven't had a more satisfying burger yet.

My boyfriend and me have been regularly visiting Islands for nine years now. We live in the high desert and will make the drive just to go to "our spot". The food is delicious, the drinks are yummy and the servers never disappoint.

Ok, so most of us go for the burgers but one of their hidden gems is the chicken tortilla soup.
