Today we were invited to family and friends night at Petali. The place was really nice I decided to order the lasagna it was bomb so delicious definitely recommend it. Great job guys knocked it out of the park. Thank you Dominique Contreras.
My husband and I really enjoyed the pasta bowls and cannoli that we got. I got campanelle with aglio e olio sauce while my husband got penne with classic red sauce. The pasta and the bread bowl were tasty! This was our first time having a cannoli and we loved it! Crunchy and filled with sweet cream.
And the service was excellent! I asked for no pepper on mine and they were able to do that since they add all the seasonings and cook it fresh. None of it is pre-packaged.
We both love Italian food, but haven't found a good & fast Italian food restaurant until discovering Petali. Now this is going to be our go-to place when we want affordable and yummy Italian food!

Terrific service. Dined in and ordered the eggplant parm and a side salad (two sizes to choose from on both) and he the flatbread pizza. The parm was delicious. The flatbread is nice to have if you aren’t real hungry, otherwise you’d need a side to fill you up. They have clean restrooms, self serve drinks, desserts, huge parking lot, outdoor and indoor dining.
Amazing amazing pasta bowls. Very unique concept. We got the pink sauce and red sauce. They’re both amazing. They make fresh pasta so you can customize your spice level/cheese anything you want. The owner and the employee working here are both extremely nice and friendly people. Would definitely stop here everytime we’re in Sacramento. Definitely try the Caramel Chocolate gelato. Thank you guys!!!! Must stop here :)
They have amazing fresh made authentic tasting food. Nice big portions for a good price.The bruschetta is a great way to start out the meal with marvelously toasted bread and deliciously seasoned tomatoes. The pasta bread bowl is amazing and you can customize it to your liking. The Ministrone soup is incredibly flavorful and is a reasonable price. They have a variety of delicious Gelato to end your meal with and they even switch some of the flavors regularly, my faves are the Key Lime Pie and the Honey Lavender. And for something to drink, choose from a selection of beers, wines and of course soda. We took home lots of left overs without breaking the bank. And the staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Great service from the time I walked in. Clean and spacious, great music setting good vibes for a meal. Ordered a bread pasta bowl with chicken and shrimp/pesto sauce. I'm ready for another visit so I can try more of their creations. Vine and beer is available, long with non alcoholic beverages. The desert selection is really good as well. I'm going to try all flavors of the gelato
I got the lasagna and the pan fried zucchini. Both were great. I especially liked the taste of the sauce on the lasagna. I definitely will be coming back again.
Wonderful owner and staff. Very friendly and kind. Gelato is a plus! I highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice mom and pop shop. I am looking to return soon :)
Craving comfort food? Then hurry over to Petali and order up some delicious food that will feed your soul and fill your belly. They tell me that their recipes are handed down from generations. I got the chicken parmesan bread bowl with penne pasta and mixed Alfredo and red sauce. Ohhhh mamma Mia! That was delicious. The hubby had a chicken Caesar salad (no picture sorry); it was a great size with lots of flavorful chicken. The pieces of romaine were nicely sized too - not huge chunks.
Anyway, if you're in Rancho and looking for good, fast Italian check out this place. The staff is very friendly as well. We will be back again for sure!
You want top quality pasta and amazing homemade meatballs, then this is the place to go. I have been trying to find a good pasta spot for years and stumbled upon this gem. Not only is the food amazing but the staff are welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend Petali to anyone who enjoys great food while surrounded by great people.
