This is my first time giving a place a one star. First the lady at the drive-thru was rude and didn't seem to understand what I was ordering. Because of her rudeness I was flustered and forgot to order my drink. When I got to the window she said that I couldn't add anything to my order. (I have never had that happen before btw) To top it off my gorditas were all disgustingly unfilled and I can barely see the cheese between them. Never will I go to this taco bell again. Don't waste your money here!

Like with all Taco Bell’s nowadays, just incredibly slow and understaffed. I realize I visited during the late night rush, so some wait time is expected —— but it shouldn’t be taking 5-10+ minutes to process EACH car. You can tell it’s understaffed immediately. No cars in the parking lot, and maybe what looks to be 3-4 people in the building trying to handle 15+ non stop drive thru cars. Just setup for failure and bad service times. Food was good though, after I finally got it —- 50 minutes later.

I think food might be held past the time its supposed to be at this location. I purchased a meal and most if not all of the food did not taste fresh. I will not visit this Taco bell location again. It's unfortunate because I work near this location and enjoy taco bell breakfast but I will not waste my money on sub par food.

I've gone to this location a handful of times and although it can be busy, my order was always right and the staff were always friendly. I decided to get the mobile app and maybe order more frequently. First time using the app which went fine, but when I got to the drive thru, I sat there for 5min at the speaker. I figured it was out of order, so I pulled up to the window where no one was, I could see a worker stocking and setting up a machine (it's 10 AM on a Sunday) and waited to get their attention. After another 5min, I parked and called... It rang and rang and then said the machine was full. Finally, I figured out how to cancel my first mobile app order and went to the Dunkin next door. Big waste of time.

I expect to go to Taco Bell and have to wait awhile but my goodness is this place slow. And the food is as bad as fried raisins in a candy box your ex got you for St. Patrick day on Cinco de mayo. Oh and they close early all the time. The two stars is for the customers and a worker. Don't know her name.

Person in drive thru seemed to be talking over me/railroading me through my order, I had to backtrack to stop them from moving me up to the window so I could ask for no sour cream on my crunchwrap, which was the only modification from the normal menu items, and I got sour cream anyway. They acknowledged it when I asked at the speaker and it showed on the receipt but- I still got sour cream anyway.

The staff is always really friendly and so far our orders have been totally correct, which is pretty rare at other Taco Bells in my recent experience!

gave this a 5 star review a while ago 'cause this used to be the most consistently good Taco Bell near NC State. i ordered from it once a week for years and have seen the quality degrade from consistently good to regularly bad. once in a while you'll get a good experience, and then five other times you'll get unfilled burritos, bad substitutions, and really poorly made orders and boxes. we went here and tried to order vegan/vegetarian. one of us has a dairy allergy. four times in a row, none of the orders came out the way they were supposed to; steak instead of beans on the nacho fries, soggy crunchwraps with nacho cheese instead of tomatoes. we order on the app, too, so there isn't any lost-in-translation through the drive-thru speaker. the workers here are not the problem. THE WORKERS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. they do their jobs, they are polite, they laugh with the customers, they put the food together best they can with what they got. management is the issue. when they've got good managers on staff, this place is as good as it used to be. this taco bell needs better management, or to reduce their operating hours and personnel to a reasonable point. picture attached is a comparison of the crunchwrap from the Hillsborough St. Taco Bell and the Western Taco Bell. the one more filled and sturdy is from Hillsborough street. go there; you will waste less time than in Western's drive thru if you just place an order on the app, and the food is consistently good and to spec.
