Stir

Great food. Great service. Fun atmosphere (but can be a little loud). Recently visited Stir with friends. I had the Bao Steak Sliders and she had the veggie burger with fries. This was my third time here, and the food is consistently good. In the warmer months, they roll up the garage-door-like walls/windows to give it more of any open feel. If you're visiting Raleigh, and staying at the AC this is a great option literally across the street.

I recently went here with my sister on a Friday afternoon. It was very nice and we had the best server, Anica (I’m sorry if I’m spelling it wrong). She suggested the best meal, shrimp and grits and had the bartender make our drinks special with tequila instead of the usual vodka. It was such a great experience and the food was the cherry on top. Definitely will be back!!

I took my mom on 12/10 to dinner for her belated birthday celebration. We both had not been to stir before but I can say that it won’t be the last! The atmosphere was good, the food was delicious but what made the whole evening memorable was our wonderful waitress Cait G. She went above and beyond in making my mom’s dinner enjoyable. You all have a gem in her. She was so down to earth and so easy to get along with. I will definitely be back just so I can have her again. She made my whole night!! Thank you for a wonderful evening

Celebrated a friend’s birthday last night and we had such a great time!! We were initially a little let down by the service before we were seated, but once we got to our table, our server Jasmine and the food made our night fantastic!! A few days before, we went to make a reservation, but saw that you could only make reservations online for parties of 4 or less, and there were 5 of us planning on going. I called to see if they would be able to accommodate us and they said no (and fair enough because it was kind of last minute), but because OpenTable still showed plenty of availability for parties of 4, we decided to take our chances without a reservation. When one of my friends arrived she went to put our name in the hostess said it would be an hour, and even though we were totally expecting/willing to wait, she seemed like she just wanted us to say never mind and go somewhere else. We were a little disappointed because on OpenTable they still had reservations available for 4 people 15 minutes after the time we arrived, but because there were 5 of us we couldn’t grab one (understandable, just disappointing!!); however, there was a 6 person high top open when we arrived that stayed empty the remainder of the evening until we left around 10 pm. We were pleasantly surprised when not even 10 minutes later we were seated in a part of the restaurant they hadn’t seated anyone else in. So, even though we had a less than great start, our wonderful server and the great food totally made up for it. Jasmine was so kind, attentive, and made excellent recommendations!! She also gave a free dessert to my friend for her birthday and even let her pick what she wanted!! All of our food was great - the truffle fries, poke bowl, cheeseburger, veggie burger, and the shrimp and scallop Mac and cheese - but the real star of the show was Jasmine.

Great experience all around! Very nice, modern restaurant with wonderful food. Great bar and mixed drinks. Very clean with plenty of seating. It looked like they were accommodating of LARGE parties too. Plenty of parking in the free garage. Very clean and nice bathrooms. Overall it was a good experience! It's not the most unique place in RDU, I feel like there are a lot of restaurants with similar vibes and design. But it is really good!

Got this recommendation from tiktokers and this place did not disappoint experiencing it for myself. Came here for birthday brunch, and the host was beyond friendly and warm welcoming. Our waiter, Ignacio, was beyond phenomenal and took good care of us. I got the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious, to say the least! Really had a great experience here in Raleigh. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic place, went for my birthday dinner with the family and it was a fun experience. The menu overall looks amazing - we wanted to try everything on it! Luckily everything we did choose was delicious, everyone loved all of the food ordered. Our server started out fantastic - super nice, energetic. The food and drinks came out very fast, but not overlapping which was nice. He also did an ice forming demonstration since we hadn't been before, and that was very cool to watch. Towards the end, he seemed to either go on break or get busy because it took a while to get to go boxes and our check, that is the only reason for the 4 stars on service. Overall still very good. The atmosphere was very cool, the mix of indoor and outdoor space and how that flowed was a cool vibe. We started with the fried green tomatoes and truffle / parmesan fries. Both were fantastic - especially the fried green tomatoes - outstanding. My family ordered the Tuna Poke bowl, Mahi bowl and one of the burgers - all were amazing. Drinks were just ok - I had their gin and tonic and it wasn't anything special but the ice was super cool.
