I’ve never had a bad experience with Jacks!!! Both locations are delicious!! The Mac n cheese is homemade! Tonight we had the croaker and pork chops, Mac n cheese, candied yams, mustard greens, and hush puppies. They were all very delicious, as usual.
The food tasted like my grandma was back there cooking. I loved their smothered pork chops ❤️ The Mac n cheese was also delicious
OMG this location is amazing and the inside is very spacious with plenty of room. The food is very southern and flavorful, I must admit I was very impressed with the food and the staff. Props to our waitress "Chasidy" very fun and professional, makes everything from start to finish a great time. This was my first time visiting the Falls Of Neuse location & I will definitely be back.
Just a heads up the online prices are INCORRECT, ordered by phone for the ROCK QUARRY RD location. The total I calculated was like about 20 more when I arrived for 3 dinners, a fish sandwich, a pint of yams and Mac & cheese, a small cup of potato salad and 6 slices of cake was only 86.00. But it was DEFINITELY WORTH EVERY PENNY and the commute from Benson NC. I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT.
I absolutely love the food. The fried catfish is my favorite but all of the food tastes great. The staff is always very friendly. It’s easy to call in orders and the food is ready for pickup. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll probably be picking up dinner again tonight, yum!!!!
Good food but need a few tables inside. Was hard to eat smothered pork chops with a lot of gravy out of styrofoam with plastic utensils. That said food was def tasty and reasonably priced, $12-$14 for the plates
Great food found here! We were pleasantly pleased to find this place right next to where we were visiting friends. Fast service and good food!
You can’t go wrong with any of their dishes at either location, and they’re quite hospitable.
This was my first time eating at Jacks. It was recommended to me by my sister. We arrived and it was pretty busy. I love that they require mask and the employees were adhering to the mandate. The ladies upfront were very professional and courteous. I ordered the flounder/shrimp combo and the smothered pork chop. Everything was seasoned very well. My only problems was the flounder looked like trout. My boyfriend didn't really care, but I would have like to get what we paid for. And while the pork chop tasted great, the quality of the meat could be better. I thought I had gotten two really big chops, but while eating it, they were really big bones, fat and gristle, very little meat. I would rather get one great meaty pork chop than what they served. Hopefully it was just a coincidence. Other than that, it was a good experience. I will return to try other things on the menu.
