The food was a delight! Ordered the beef stew with coconut spinach and rice...my wife had the grilled beef with plantains and coconut black eyed peas. Delicious! The staff is cool...will definitely return!

Love this place. Kid friendly and great food. I got the grilled chicken, Kuku I think, with the spicy rice and chapati. So good. I ate all of it. My husband had the grilled goat choma, peas, and rice. My husband still talks about it. We will definitely go back soon.
Swahili food was really good! I had the Goat Curry, white rice and fries. Service was excellent and the restaurant is very clean. The cooks had no issue showing us what they had and offered us a sample if we wanted. The only downsize was the portion for the price. $15 is a bit hefty for this amount of food, I was expecting a bit more. Overall great experience!!
What a great experience! If you're looking for a tasty meal and you enjoy a diverse palette, Swahili Grill is the answer. Everything tasted AMAZING! Ask for a sample if you're between menu choices, The hospitable folks here will gladly oblige. I had the chicken stew, rice, and spinach. My coworkers had the curry goat, plantains, and the whole fried tilapia. I sampled the grilled chicken which was also AMAZING! It's where the old Moe's was outside Triangle Town Center mall, a must eat in Raleigh!!
My husband and I ate here for the first time and everything was great!! The food was fresh, hot and very flavorful. I had: KuKu Choma (Grilled chicken) with Mbazi and Pilau Rice!!. He had: Mombasa style Tilapia (Grilled Tilapia with tomato sauce) with Pilau Rice and Plantains!!!. If you are looking to try something different but good, then this is a place you should visit!!
Great food and a friendly staff. The flavors are unique and delicious. The owner is fun to talk to. They import their own coffee too. Great stuff

The food was amazing, the two guys that were there were super friendly and helpful when explaining what things were. The younger man recommended the goat stew and it did not disappoint! My friend got the fried fish and said it was perfect. Truly a great experience and they serve a good amount of food. I did not leave hungry and I would definitely recommend this place.
