The food is delicious and good portions. The staff is friendly and attentive. The service is fast. Good dining atmosphere and a family friendly vibe. I have been going to Cara Mia's for over 20 years. My family and I celebrate many occasions there aswell as regular dinner and lunch dates. Highly recommend if you are looking for delicious homestyle Italian food!!!

This Italian restaurant was a gem! We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and the food and service was amazing! I had the gnocchi with mushrooms, which was out of this world. This is definitely a place we would go back to.

This place is, without question, some of best Italian Restaurants in the NYC area. They moved to a new location, which is in a charming neighborhood. The staff was wonderful. They treated our 9 year old daughter and her friend as adults. Great service. The food is beyond amazing. The best broccoli rabe you will ever eat.

The food here is great. We started with the half dozen baked clams. The sauce in it was delicious. Great to dip your bread in. I ordered the calamari Fra Diablo. It was a big portion. The sauce was medium spicy. The food was great. The service was good. I would definitely recommend it for great Italian food.

We celebrated my wife's birthday here. The place is very nice... the service was great and the food is excellent!! The fried calamari is one of the best I have ever had! The portions are very generous and the prices aren't too bad either. Definitely on our "go back" list!

We've been coming to this restaurant since 1984 & continue to do so due to the down home service & food quality. The menu is diverse, the drinks are generous, and the desserts are decidently delicious.
Make a reservation & go early if you don't like to wait for a table, but no matter what you choose to do you'll love this place.
The new location in Floral Park has all the charm of the 1st location, but with more space.
Tonight's chopped baked clams, lasagna, penne ala vodka & veal picata were only upstaged by the top flight creme brule.

Lovely restaurant with great food and portions! Some food needed a little extra seasoning but we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Do be prepared for a wait. Atmosphere was a little loud for my own personal preference, but many do enjoy the busier atmosphere. Would definitely return to try more on the menu.

We tried Cara Mia’s new location in Floral Park last night. The food was amazing! I totally forgot to take pictures of the apps because we were so hungry. Definitely worth the wait on a Friday night 😋
