Riverside Mongolian Grill

I love this place. I just make sure to always get it to go. They don't let you take home your leftovers. Which is pretty standard for Mongolian grills. But it's always delicious and always enough for lunch and dinner for me. I haven't seen anything not stocked and the guys who work the grill are really fun to watch.

This USED TO be my favorite Mongolian BBQ place, however it had changed so much and with so many restrictions for to-go orders, I consider it now a RIP-OFF for to-go orders. 1. There is a restriction on how much food you can put in your bowl.. the bowls they give for the to-go orders are much smaller than the dine-in ones. 2. I went there during lunch, very limited selection. I used to be able to get calamari or shrimp during lunch, now it's just beef, pork, chicken, or some funny looking fish flakes in a canister. 3. Take outs doesn't include appetizers or soup. 4. The price went up $4.00 for to-go orders. 5. There is a CHARGE for a to-go bag if you don't bring one in yourself. 6. When I got home, the BBQ does not have the same robust flavor as it once had.. I guess they watered down their sauces now too. I won't go back there. Instead, I would rather go to Covington Mongolian Grill or Jasmine Mongolian Grill, Very Disappointed. Don't mind paying more BUT the limitations on how much you can put in a small bowl, and the watered down sauce just isn't worth it.
