Well the service was good. But that was about it as far as convincing us to recommend this place. Pulaski is not known for high quality dining - and after eating here, it's still not. The menu and Nashville prices bring an air of pretentiousness but it's more of an aspiration. Admittedly fine plating and presentation but beverages served in Mason jar? Well, okay. Trying to be country chic. The failure is in the fact that the mason jars are plastic. Like a Dollar Tree special buy. Maybe too many patrons dropped their "actual glass" cups after seeing the price for a chicken tender sandwich slapped with Nashville hot sauce, giving it, in our opinion, a heaviness that challenged my friend to stop eating after each bite. And the hamburger steak, served bloody, less bloody or just oozing blood (your choice) all over the fairly tasty mashed potatoes. The seasoned greens may have been from some family recipe. If so, mama loved sugar a little too much, giving these veggies an unwelcome wang. Well at least the service was good.

I simply got a burger and garlic potatoes and I asked for medium rare and the burger came out and the waitress said it was not cooked medium rare however i thought it looked fine. She asked if i wanted another burger i said no thank you. After i finished my meal and received the bill she then gave me a medium rare burger and potatoes free of charge to go! That was phenomenal! Definitely will be going back! Outstanding service!

I have waited until tonight to try the Southern Table with my wife. Server was polite and prompt taking order, and bringing our drinks. Pre meal bread was a little confusing, kind of looks like cornbread, kind of squishy and taste like bread. Overall not too bad Wife ordered a hamburger steak (onions and mushrooms) with garlic mash potatoes, she was pleased with her meal. I ordered a medium 14oz ribeye, garlic mash and white beans. Garlic mash potatoes and white beans had great flavor but beans were a little on the firm side for my liking. Back to the medium steak, well unfortunately it was not medium, at best it was medium rare but if you pressed on the steak could see blood, so I tend to believe it was more on the rare side. I could have asked the waitress to re-fire the steak but, decided to bring the steak home for breakfast. Temperature of the steak was also on the cool side like it had been allowed to rest way too long. I also didn’t like the “stacking of food” , I get it is for presentation but totally not needed. On a menu with $40 and $55 dollar steaks should one really have to drink a beverage out of a plastic mason jar? Even post Covid-19 not sure that is right. Another issue is lack of menu items and entrees. I understand that a slimmed down menu allows focus and discipline but a few more entrées wouldn’t hurt.
