Lotus Garden Restaurant

This restaurant was so good!! The waitress was really friendly and prompt. We went later in the day when it was slower, but I was still impressed with how fast they brought our food out. It's a lot of food for how much you pay, and it was delicious. I'm a big texture person when it comes to Chinese food, and they got it spot on. 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve lived two blocks from these dudes for years and now I feel like my whole life is a lie. This place is excellent. Outstanding food, great service. Take out only as of December 2021. Don’t let it stop you though. It’s worth the trip. The paper wrapped chicken is the best I’ve ever had, and their fried rice is super good. Can’t go wrong here.

Went on a Friday night right after work and it wasn't busy at all which was surprising. The food was great, service was also great. We didn't have to wait long for our meal to be brought out. I thought the prices were reasonable/affordable as well. We ordered an appetizer and two entree's off the dinner specials menu and it was around $20. We will be going back.

Great for lunch! I just read many reviews and I have to say some of them were unreasonably harsh. I'm sure some people have had negative experiences, especially back when this place had a buffet, but that happens sometimes at any restaurant. I went here in the past, and it was mediocre. Now it is a normal, sit-down Chinese restaurant, and the food quality is phenomenal...way better than most Chinese places I've been to. And you just can't beat the lunch prices: as low as 5.99 for a full-size entree, soup, and an egg roll.

Update: I’ve revisited a number of times over the past few months and continue to be impressed. An off menu item that I really enjoy is the coconut chicken. It’s delicious! Hesitant to try the place based on some of the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. I stopped by for lunch. Service was quick, and the food came out quickly, as well. The ingredients of my sweet and sour chicken were remarkably fresh. The chicken was moist, fresh, and not over cooked. The onions and peppers tasted like they'd just been picked. I was honestly a bit shocked. Most Chinese food I've had doesn't seem this fresh. The lunch specials are a lot of food for a great low price.

Now this place is great. I got the crispy duck. I've never tried duck before and this was the first place I'd found where it was in Stock and ready to go. It was a very nice experience. The egg drop soup was yummy and so was the duck. It did have bones in it and was a bit freaky cause of that but I still will recommend it just don't get it if you get sick about that kind of stuff, personally I thought it just made it seem more authentic. My boyfriend had gotten the orange chicken lunch special which comes with an egg roll, egg drop soup and rice. He was satisfied with it. I liked the decorations as well reminds me of China light in American fork, that location has been changed BTW. So it gave me nice memories as well :) the waitress was nice and was quick to take orders and refill our drinks. She also gave us space with was nice, I don't really like when I'm hovered over. I would highly recommend it to others.
