I used to come here as a student many, many years ago. I loved it then and love it still. Love the garlic bread! Love the salad bar—no one has a better one! The pizza is pizza. Plenty of cheese and not skimpy on ingredients. It was fun to take a stroll down memory lane—some 45 years ago. We had our two year old granddaughter with us and they were kind enough to put us in a nook that was far away from others so that we didn’t have to worry too much about bothering other people. The waitress was very attentive and kept my Diet Coke refilled at all times!

The Brick Oven is a staple in the Provo community. They're pretty busy around dinner time, so make sure to make a reservation. They do take-out also, but the atmosphere in the place is fun and lively. We were sat pretty soon after arriving (after checking in for our reservation). Our waitress was kind and gave us time to checkout the menu. We decided on some cheesy garlic bread as an appetizer. Sooo good! We got two 12" pizzas. I got a Hawaiian style BBQ with pineapple and ham. My girlfriend got a chicken-ranch pizza. They were both pretty good! They were very busy - several huge parties - but we didn't have to wait too long. A good experience if you're in the area and want some good pizzas 🍕

When you want pizza and salad your husband takes you to get pizza and salad. My husbands first time at #BrickOvenPizza they have a great salad bar so we got a pizza with a turn thru the #saladBar Beverages included homemade #rootBeer which is tasty and #appleBeer #pizza was a half #garlicChicken half #ChickenPineapple and was delicious. They also have a good pasta bar but we didn’t get it this time. lots of memories at this original BYU pizza joint. Heaps of Pizza. It’s a good idea to call ahead as it gets very busy at times.

Yummy! There was something for each of our kids here, and us adults. It is fun to eat here because it is has been around for so long now! The wait was 35 minutes. They had to round up some utensils for us. We went near closing time and you could tell that they were trying to rush things along so that they could get cleaned up and out of there. They took our parmesan shaker before we were done so that they could get them in the fridge for the night. There was no more garlic bread available at the pasta bar because it was the end of the day even though it was supposed to come with my meal. I loved the root beer. It is very refreshing. The pasta was pretty good too. My husband like the soup. I like the decor and atmosphere. And the wood-fired oven for the pizza was fun to watch. The kids enjoyed the kids meals... pizza, chicken, spaghetti. Each kids meal came with a lollipop. They forgot about those but we made sure to ask at the end.

This is a fun place with a nice ambiance to eat pizza or pasta. The salad bar is also great with many fresh choices. The Market Room menu choice includes all you can eat pasta bar, soup, salad, and garlic bread. They also have gluten-free pastas and pizzas. The homemade root beer is delicious, as is the non-alcoholic apple beer. You can buy a pitcher of the root beer or apple beer. The servers are also friendly.

My parents actually worked at Brick Oven in the early 70s, and I love that they have a lot of the history in the waiting area. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because they put us on the list and then never called us because they had skipped us, so we got to sit and extra 20 minutes. Prices were decent, food was great, loved the salad bar. This place IS on/next to BYU campus, so conversations overheard from other tables were questionable, and we got some glances walking in with motorcycle helmets. Love a big sit down place for good pizza.

Our first time eating here. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip with garlic bread for an appetizer, the 8" chicken alfredo pizza, and the 8" meats-a-pizza. The dip was a little bland, personally, I would have preferred more flavor in it, it also felt like they only put a small amount of filling and then a huge amount of cheese on top. It made the dish bigger but also after 5 minutes, the cheese was no longer piping hot and turned hard so you could no longer dip things into it. The garlic bread was really good with it and it was a good portion for an appetizer. The pizzas were both fantastic! A perfect combination of flavors from the sauce, toppings, and crust. The crust is well cooked and has herbs mixed in and is airy and light with a sturdy bottom. The pizza holds its shape well. The only way to make it better would be to serve it on dishes thay don't allow condensation to build up under it to keep the crust as good as when it comes out. Staff were all kind and friendly. Service was quick! We really enjoyed it and will be coming back to try the pasta, salad, and soup bar!
