The Brickhouse

I loved this place. Once you step inside, it’s like you’re no longer in Prestonsburg. You’re in some awesome place in another state. I love the way the inside is designed. The servers are nice and the food was really good. My boyfriend and I went here for our 2 year anniversary because we know Brickhouse is expensive (at least to us). The ladies room was super cute and really clean as well. Would definitely recommend.

I’m not sure there is much better around the area but this place does a satisfactory job. Crab cakes were really good but a little overfried. Myself and my partner both got salads that were great. The lettuce was crisp and fresh. The Caesar salad delivered in an amazing way and the Parmesan crisp on top was incredible. The southwest salad had some blue cheese thrown in it which was an odd choice but everything came together to make a tasty salad that was very filling. The mac and cheese was Kraft with extra cheese sprinkled on top, I was astonished. I took off a whole star for it. Overall the food delivered but it didn’t wow me. 4 stars because for Prestonsburg it’s one of the few best options.

I love the Brickhouse but the Boneless Apple Bourbon Chicken is a joke. This appetizer was my favorite but now they are using a cheep processed “chicken type” product that looks more like a sausage ball with the same consistency. Please try to improve the quality I am not worried about the cost increase I will take quality over price every time. Thank You

Been a loyal customer since its first few days and it is generally a good restaurant. Service has always been great and it is slightly upscale for the area in regards to the building, atmosphere and menu, although the prices reflect that as they are rather high. However, food is usually good, but sometimes it is better than others. Burgers were better in the early years in my opinion, now sometimes they are good, other times they are “dry” and missing much of the toppings and lacking in sauces. Pizza is usually a safe bet though and pretty much all that I get now along with the Caesar salad.

Great local steakhouse. Not pretentious, tasty home made options, delicious steak, burgers, and pizza. Live music. Really nice service. A bit of a wait on Saturdays. Reservations is a weird system where you have to get a call back or you don’t have a reservation. I recommend calling and finding if they are still taking reservations.

The food here is excellent. One of the best burgers I've ever put in my mouth. Juicy, and cooked to perfection. Their Flatbread pizzas are also amazing. The downfall to this place is the owner. I ordered food for pickup and my wife stopped to grab it. She had no idea what I ordered. Well they charged me 12 dollars more for the steak than was advertised and didn't include the flat bread pizza I ordered. When I called back the manager said I'd need to speak with the owner. I called promptly the next day to be met with attitude and accusations basically saying that I should have know what was in my order and shouldn't have left without it. She did refund me after the attack. But her behavior was very entitled and immature.

Not good. The waitress we had was great and the only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one. We ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and two burgers cooked medium for the main course. The fried green tomatoes were mushy with grease and inedible. The burgers were rare at best and even raw in spots. Other than the food, the atmosphere is pretty good. There was some live music in another room and plenty of people getting their drink on.
