The Front Porch

First time visit to this circa 1910 built historical home. Our meal was served on the screened in porch. The Fisherman's Platter is fantastic with plenty of leftovers. I highly recommend their primitive bread and trout cakes. Yummy! Take a look upstairs while visiting. Several rooms are open to walk through and purchase items.

The Front Porch came highly recommended and it did not disappoint! My sister and I visited for the first time today but I know it will NOT be our last. Great atmosphere in a very quaint, beautiful old home. Had inside and outside seating on the large porch. Food selections were a very nice surprise, NOT the same ole fare most restaurants have, so this was a delightful surprise! My sister had the stir fry cabbage dish which she enjoyed and I had the steak over onion straws and fries. Very good also. What we found to be an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT, was the Primitive Bread appetizer, small sweet cornbread balls served with only butter! We started with a 1/2 order but soon asked could we change it to a full order and we’d take the test “to go”. I just devoured some for the second time today. Staff were very nice and personable and our waitress was phenomenal with recommendations and any questions we had! Do yourself a favor and make it a priority to go!

My husband, myself & my father went to The Front Porch. My father had been there before, but my husband & myself had not. We absolutely loved it! Very clean, professional staff, excellent food at a very reasonable price, beautiful decor. Will definitely be back. I am local & look forward to sharing this beautiful place with other family & friends.

This was the first time we've eaten at The Front Porch. It is a lovely historic home in Powell, TN. The menu has some different items from the usual restaurant selections. I had chicken topped with pico de Gallo and cheddar cheese, on a bed of jalapeno cheese grits. The restaurant has very limited seating, so be sure to come early, or be prepared to wait.

Went to the Front Porch for the first time, and must say I was very impressed with the food and service!! Started with the fried pickles, and they were the best I have ever had period.. The homemade ranch dressing for dipping was the best. Had a side salad with homemade blue cheese dressing that was fresh and tasty. For dinner we shared the grilled monterrey chicken with their homemade barbecue sause,, it was great! Felt like I was having dinner at my my mom's. Very impressed! Will be back to try more of their specialties. Thank you for a great meal.

The Front Porch upscale southern charm home has the best breakfast menu in Tennessee. My youngest son really do like their amazing kids menu, they have the best-grilled steak bits with fries. The Front Porch Southern Charm of Powell, Tennessee is one of our favorite restaurants. I’m looking forward to eating their famous made from scratch maple bacon cinnamon rolls. They have the best made from scratch blackberry and strawberry crumb crust cobbler
