Mcdonald's

Was really looking forward to eating inside the new renovated McDonalds on Shoemaker Rd. Total let down. Hashbrowns were burnt. Sandwiches were cold and they workers had the audacity to get upset with me when I walked in The back to ask for the rest of our order....which I had to do because they didn't bring it AND there was NOBODY at the front counter. There must have been 20 people working in the back. I use that term very loosely. The brightside was we had plenty of time to clean the tables ourselves from the previous customers. If you really don't want people in your building McDonalds just make everything drive thru.

Love the new place! We happened to visit on a Grand Opening day. Raindow the clown did an awesome job on balloon animals. Besides that, food and service was great. My granddaughter loved her balloon fish, the t-shirt and stuffed giraffe she won playing the games outside. I also won a free sandwich. We will be back and very happy they are finally open. We always stop here for dinner when she sleeps over.

This is a relatively new McDonald's it was a complete tear down from the old one and they started from scratch so the building is very nice. The drive-through has been upgraded to 2 slots so it's much more efficient. Still the best thing on the entire menu is the fries.. I have to admit as I get older the idea idea of a Big Mac or a Quarter Pounder ... and the quality that they present is just not really that appealing compared to other fast food locations.

Let me start with the employees. We dealt with at least 2 people and they were kind and efficient. We spent about $50 on 1 big mac, 2 quarter pounders with cheese, 4 cheeseburgers and 4 lg fries. Considering this food is one of the most unhealthy choices, you would think the quality would be at or above par. It was substantially under par. The big mac had one burger that was the size of a half dollar coin. I'm sure that was an error that no one caught. The buns on all the burgers were dry and tasted stale. The burgers had no actual meat flavor. We had to wait for our order, more than usual, so the fries were only luke warm. Considering the price we paid. I expected more. It's a mistake I won't make again. Burger King..here we come.

Not 24 hours and no drink refill station when dining in. Drive thru is confusing with 3 windows now. Used to be a good mcdonalds when they were 24 hours and before the "remodeling" that took the drink station away. Last time I go here. I'll stop by a mcdonalds near my job an hour away as even the high st mcdonalds owned by the same owners is not great too.
