Subway

I do have to admit that i used to work here, but that gives me some insight that others dont have. If cleanliness is your jam, this is the subway for you. denise, the manager, runs a very tight ship. If there was even so much as a crumb left on a table in the morning, i could be sure to hear about it when i came in for my next shift. On top of that the staff is very well trained and extremely friendly. Even when there is a long line you can be sure you will be in and out fast with your sandwich made to your exact specifications. Trust me, ive put these guys through the wringer with some of my orders. You will be satisfied!

Have had a few really bad experiences with the same employee. I actually call before I go in to make sure she's not working. Her attitude is poor, she locked her door 10 to 15 minutes before close but left the open sign on and just shrugged when I came to the door, and I had to call 3 times just now at 830 before she would answer the phone. I know they're not busy. Not sure of her name but she's a young dark skinned girl. Not the manager though, the manager is great. Just confused how such a nice manager could have an employee as bad as this.

If I could offer this resturaunt a negative star rating I'd do it. These observations made at non-peak hours while the crew was having personal conversations with one another. *Bathrooms - less than clean (toilets not flushed, floor wet with something I couldn't recognize, sinks weren't running, there was no soap, toilet paper or paper towels. *Dining Area - Every table's seats and tables were greasy and covered with dust. There was also food debris under every table, the last time a good sweep had been done was obviously more than 24 hours ago. *Food Preparation - From what I could see, disgusting. There were stains everywhere, debris from previously made sandwiches and salads everywhere, and the floor had not been swept in recent memory. The employees didn't even acknowledge me or my wait (and I was the only customer there) until ending their personal conversation on their own time which they were being paid for, and the manager, Denise, was one of these two people. The sneeze guard also looked like it was in use; and had not been cleaned in weeks. The employees didn't even wear gloves when preparing my food. I was disgusted. *Cross-contamination. I ordered two items; one was for myself (Steak-and Cheese) the other was a Chicken Breast for my partner. The employee made no effort (no gloves, no washing of hands on food safety and avoiding cross-contamination between these meats for myself and my partner so that we could avoid the risk of food poisoning. The excessive lack of concern this restaurant has for food safety is obvious. If you have any concern for your health, you will not eat here. It is too much of a risk.
