Foster Burger

I'm not usually a fan of a place but doesn't give you fries with your burger but the selection they have here is so eclectic and inventive. you can pretty much create anything you can put your mind to if they don't already have something on the menu that suits your fancy. They also have thick delicious creamy milkshakes.

I'm credible customer service! Our waiter was so down to earth he could've joined our table. The food was super filling! Just the small chili chese fries alone did the job and then had the pineapple burger on top of it. The drinks are great too! The food is so good I think of Foster burger as a restaurant and then I remember that it's a bar that's open til late.

It was my first time here and we came here for burger week. The Jimmy Pesto was delicious! The burger was on the smaller side, but it was cooked nicely. The sweet and tangy taste of balsamic reduction was a perfect touch to the burger. We also ordered poutine, but I wasn't too impressed. The fries were not crispy and didn't care for the taste of vegetable gravy. My toddler loved it though, and he's a picky eater. Our waiter was nice and friendly, and we got our food pretty quickly. There was no wait around 5pm Monday, but the place started to fill up as we were leaving. I look forward to coming back to try some of their other burgers and milkshakes!

08/10/16: 4 out of 5 - One of the runners from the Wednesday running group suggested Foster Burgers due to it being National Burger Week, which made this place busy. Well, this place was pretty good considering the craziness of the occasion. Our server looked worked, but he did good keep us attended. The food was tasty ranging from the Poutine to my Double Chipotle BBQ (see the pictures). Although in SE Portland, consider coming out to Foster Burgers and try this place once and decide for yourself. I had a pleasant time and definitely will be returning.

I'm so happy this place is close to me! I love their burgers, from the simple to the fancy. The meat is well-seasoned, they understand the meaning of medium well, and the house sauce is very tasty. I mostly order take out from here. When I do dine in the staff is always friendly and food comes in a timely manner. I appreciate the little things like that. I dropped in for Burger Week as well and was very impressed with their offering. I thought maybe it would be much smaller than the regular burger -- nope. And no one in the place acted like it was some terrible burden to deal with people who wanted a $5 burger. Love this place, will be back for more.
