Sengchai Thai Cuisine

It can be hard to find delivery places in Portland, but thank goodness Seng Chai Thai does it! Whenever I'm in the mood for Pad Thai (chicken & tofu), crispy peppery spring rolls, or their newer fried curry dumplings -- I go right here! Other places I find can be very inconsistent, Seng Chai Thai never fails. And delivery could not be faster. I've ordered and had it at my door in 15 minutes, Woah! They are gracious & sweet, I would not go anywhere else in town for my Thai food fix (Other places have proven more expensive & inconsistent). Go here, yummy!

Typical Asian restaurant not standing behind their food... I ordered a bunch of food including Shrimp Pad Thai. All the food was good except the Shrimp Pad Thai...The shrimp had a bitter taste and the noodles were more like 5 star hot instead of 3 (unbearable)...Called to let them know, which was about closing time so they said they deliver a new one tomorrow...Called the next day and when it arrived they tried to charge me... I showed the delivery guy the container that was barley touched from the night before, and of course he didn't have a clue...He called the restaurant and of course everyone there didn't have a clue, plus they said "no manager on sorry you have to talk to owner the next day"... The driver finally gets the "manager" on his cell phone and speaks in another language then gives me the phone to no avail, just being weaselly as ever... So I gave the driver the old Pad Thai and told him to give it to his manger and to stick were the sun don't shine...They probably resold it, the tight bastards.... I mean don't they know restaurant etiquette , they stink at customer service and lost my business (figure once or twice a month at $25-$30 a shot)....
