Pies and Platters- Foodworks provided pies and platters for a family gathering. It is the first time I have not prepared the food myself. (Fussy former Inn owner) We had been to an event that Foodworks catered and everything was exceptional, so we took the leap.Could not be more pleased with the qulity and presentation. Multiple guests asked for the name of our caterer and RAVED about the pies.."best I ever had" was uttered more than once, and this was a group with lots of bakers. Thank you Pam and Rob! Excellence.

From its beginnings to the present day, Foodworks delivers every day. Outstanding sandwiches carefully prepared on their homemade bread makes Food Works very special. The sandwiches and daily specials are creative and will match your expectations.

Great food. All of it. Healthful, yummy soups, excellent sandwiches on Anadama bread (the tarragon chicken is most incredible). I'm not a doctor, but I think their chili just saved my life.

The best sandwiches on the planet! The tarragon chicken salad is my personal favorite, but everything they make is outstanding.

I just had an amazing quiche over there it came with buttered bread and fresh veggies, the service was amazing the people are nice. Definitely coming back! Also for your information, it says on google they’re closed on Monday but this is incorrect.

One of the most underrated things in a neighborhood is a solid deli shop. No one thinks it's important, but boy, having a good deli shop changes everything. And Foodworks (along with Other Side Deli in Deering) is one of the best deli/catering shops I've known. They don't skimp on your protein, or for that matter, anything. Your sandwiches and wraps will be packed. They don't skimp on ingredient quality. They source as much as they can from local farms and they have their own farm too! They also do many of their meats in-house. When you have freshness, deliciousness just follows. They don't skimp on variety. The classics are always there, but there's also always new wraps, sandwiches, soups, and salads every week. They don't skimp on service. They'll get to know you and you'll get to know them. It's not a different cashier every day - they have a core team and you'll see those 5-6 folks there always! The only thing they skimp on is price. Nothing is more than $10. So there you have it. Don't go here at your own loss!

Outstanding hidden Gem on India Street in Portland. All of the food is HOMEMADE and the inside vibe is spot on!! Best PUMPKIN Whoopie Pies in the State of Maine. Worth hitting this place for lunch or for catering your next function.
