7-eleven

This is no longer a convenience store. There is nothing convenient about it. I work 3 doors down and am there 2 or three times a day for coffee or to grab a bite to eat or a slurpee. Today was a typical day with this store: went in at 10:30 am for coffee and of course they were out of every variety except pumpkin. There were two women working however, they were standing behind the counter talking. They know me, they know my name and my face and just ignored me when I let them know. Yesterday a different woman responded "I know" and made some. I didn't have time to wait just like today and left. Neither today nor yesterday was busy at the store when I went in for coffee, I was the only customer in the store both days. These are not isolated incidents at all. This is daily. I know the people that work there and the ones that last are usually nice. Anyway I go back in at 3:20 today and there is a line of people stretched to the back of the store and a man well into his 80's is the only one working. He's a nice guy but incredibly slow. So I didn't even stay I just left. As I said: this is a typical day and I try and go in for coffee or something else at least twice a day workdays. I am successful in my attempt roughly half the time. They're always out of something, this place is a joke. They have a crackhead who puts her makeup on with a shoe on and has the filthiest hands I've seen touching food and money. She is a tweaker, absolutely no doubt. The staff turnover is incredible. They will literally hire anyone. The sane ones don't last and the creepy tweakers last forever. So if you're​ looking for a job to just stand around and steal from, I highly recommend this 711. If you're looking for a convenience store to grab a quick coffee or slurpee go anywhere else. We joke about this place at work but it's not funny. I forgot to mention the hobo drug addicts that are always out front and the needles by the dumpsters. Worst 711 ever. Corporate needs to shut this clown show down so something useful can go in that spot. UPDATE: new owners, store remodeled!!! but the new staff sucks. rude, slow and just unpleasant generally. I helped the manager with a shoplifter a few weeks ago: no "Thank you" or anything and i get the stink eye and crappy service AS DOES EVERYONE. they're slow but not because they're lazy i think its because they truly resent their customers and being here.
