A&W Restaurant has always held a place in my heart, since I was a little girl in the 1970s. It was up there in popularity, and compared to other places like Dairy Queen..home of the infamous "Dilly Bar"...anyone born in this genre can tell you what that is exactly....and A&W Restaurant was infamous for its '"Root Beer Floats" and delicious Hot Dog varieties. And back in the day... along with each meal purchase, came great customer service, a smile from your cashier, and a lot less grumpy minimum wage g xxx. I wish all fast food chains of every food variety would adopt back such great work ethics! My dining experience was a great one! They were prompt with my food, the order was correct, and my milkshake was almost frozen...but soft! All in all I rate then a 4 out of 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the excellent and knowledgeable cashiers. If you are ever on the SE side of Portland close to 8131 SE Powell...stop in and try some A&W or revisit their Root beer floats!! You won't be disappointed. I gave 4 rating due to the portions being small and the prices being higher. This store was clean, and staff were awesome!
