El Patron Taqueria Y Canceria

Finally got to try this place and glad I did. I’m a fan of authentic street tacos and I four of them with steak and it was great. Meat was very tender and flavorful that salsa wasn’t needed but I still put some on. Place was also very clean and the staff were friendly. Definitely will come again.

I had heard by word of mouth this spot was good. I'm not sure if it was a BAD day or the word "good" is thrown around loosely. My main issue is with the food itself. I ordered 3 tacos, a taco dorado plate, and a güerita. The tacos were "meh". The meat and toppings were extremely dry. It almost seemed like they used leftovers from a couple nights before. The tacos dorados had NO flavor and definitely NEEDED the consumé it came with. (Sidenote: the menu pictured 3 tacos but when I received the order it only had 2) The güeritas were probably the best plate i ordered (that's not saying much). The meat was dry and didn't taste like any al pastor I've EVER had. Overall, I give this place a 4/10. Between the lack of flavor, the small portions and the expensive prices, it was definitely not worth the hype. I would save your time and money and try looking for a better spot. (Papi Chulos in Portland or Pepita's in Beaverton).

Well where to begin...oh I know where like this food is absolutely authentic and delicious!! DELICIOUS!!!! They have tongue and tripe and they play to near perfection in flavor and texture. This is a great opportunity to share in food from someone's country and taste amazing flavours they have brought to OURS.
