I really love this cart!! The combination if Indian food and Mexican food is perfect, although I've only ordered their burritos (called Elephant Burrito). For any of the dishes, you're able to pick your meat (or meat substitute), sauce, rice, beans, extras, and cheese.
Basically, if you like Indian flavors with a Mexican presentation, Poco India has got what you want.

This cart is an awesome fusion of Mexican and Indian foods. I had a tandoori chicken and a pander enchilada with Bismark rice, and black beans. Very generous portions of a unique fusion idea carried out very well. It's sort of hidden in the back of the cart lot.

The mash up of Mexican and Indian was awesome, I will be back for sure! If nothing else to get the bacon bites or the deep fried oreo dessert concoction.

This is my favorite food cart in Portland. Healthy, yummy, fresh, local, and delicious!!! The couple who owns the cart are so sweet. I love coming here. Highly recommend trying, then falling in love!

My favorite Mexican food cart was closed, so I looked around for another one, but was surprised there were no other Mexican carts. I decided to try Poco India since I like both Indian and Mexican food (which is an odd combination but thought I'd give them a try). I ordered the elephant burrito which is a large flour tortilla filled with your choice of meat, beans, sauces, vegies, etc. It took 20 mins. to get my order though I was the only customer. The burrito was average, consisting mostly of meat (spicy pork) and rice with not much of anything else. I was looking forward to more sauce, vegies and spices. However, it was dry and bland. Perhaps their other dishes are better, though I doubt I'll return.

Holy hell what a place. I am so excited to eat here again. I rolled up desperately hungry, and kinda salty that all the Thai places were closed not gonna lie. In 5 minutes, just the customer service and the positive attitude from the owner alone sold me. The food: incredible. Guys, GO HERE ! Yum city 100%!!!!!!🙏🏼🌯🚫🧢🤩

Here's the thing: every time we order from this place, there is at least 2 things from our order they don't have. And I don't care. I will keep ordering. If they completely abolished the menu and just had you order a surprise assortment of food for x people, that would be fine by me. Because everything is freaking delicious. Combinations that a normal mind would never think of turn out to be pure magic .

Latin-Indian fusion makes for some really funky and delicious combos. The base ingredients have some commonalities, but the flavors they produce together are a real treat. Plenty of options, quick service, and friendly faces each time. If you want something different, Poco is definitely worth a shot.
