Friendly, courteous staff, not too long wait for food, maybe 5 minutes give or take a few? Hey, if you want faster, go to tb! Plus, I had just ordered seconds before lunch crowd came in. Food was good, I ordered the fish taco on flour tortilla, which I was later told that it is recommended by one staff to get fish taco with corn tortilla. Mine were still very good. We also got side order of rice with beans, chips and salsa, and I also got a chicken taco crispy shelled. I was disappointed that there wasn't flavor in the sauces and I didn't care for their red sauce. That is the reason for the 4 stars. That's just personal preference, I will go back and I do recommend this taqueria.

Food was delicious! You get complimentary chips and salsa and the prices we affordable. Got 3 tacos, 2 drinks, and a big burrito for under 26$. Ontop of that, the service was great. The lady that took our order even checked on us to make sure we liked everything. Very kind. Will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for years and the quality and service has always been excellent! Huge portions and the food is traditional Mexican. Not over priced and Americanized like so many other joints in Portland. I have had a lot of items on the menu and have never been disappointed

Used to like this place but they raised their prices a lot. I just paid $13 for a burrito and then another three something for one of the worst Jamaica's I've ever had and then after I was all done and already told her that I wanted salsa on the side for my burrito which she ignored she tried to charge me for the salsa that they give away free with the chips to everyone who eats there. I'm done with that place. I can't believe how outrageous their prices have gotten and how they always miss something every time I order. Also I have always asked for salsa on the side and they have never charged me. She was going to make me do a whole other transaction and was fumbling around on the register but couldn't figure out how to charge me just to get a small cup of salsa for my $13 burrito. You guys just lost a customer over that one. I used to send so many people to that place too so you didn't just lose me you lost everyone that I would have ever sent there. Not worth a cup of free salsa that you give to everyone that dines in. Also didn't give me any napkins which was extra bad when my jamaica spilled in the caror ask if I needed any utensils or any hot sauce. What kind of place is this becoming? I also swore they were 10 times nicer to the cop in front of me. I'm over it. Not sending anyone there anymore. They're still in the middle of raising all their prices so half the stuff doesn't even have an amount on it because they're charging more for everything all of a sudden. Been going there for years and never once been charged for something that is always free with no explanation.

If you like Por Que No Taqueria, but want to avoid a line (and pay a bit less), definitely check this place out. Everything was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and affordably priced. The service was friendly, accommodating and fast. This may be my new go-to meal in inner Southeast. Pictured are the steak and chicken Super Tacos, the steak torta, and the carnitas, chicken, chorizo and barbacoa (regular) tacos.
