The Portland Exchange

This place is so cute and worth the stop! It’s connected to the Porter Hotel but has its own entrance. The coffee was delicious. Plenty of seating. They also sell a lot of other things like drinks and various snacks. Definitely would stop by here again. They’re also open later than other coffee shops around.

I visited Portland a couple years ago for a conference and found this place for my pre-meeting breakfast the three days I was there. They made a great breakfast dish that was eggs/spinach/sun-dried tomatoes/mushrooms/feta cheese, from what I can remember. I occasionally think about trying to find their menu and recreate that dish back on the east coast. If anyone knows what I'm describing, please respond back!

giving 5 stars purely for the comfiness of the window chairs 💜✨🙏🙏 they are so cushioned and my spine is saying thank you. theyre not even high-backed but i love them regardless. 🦕💜 chairs otherwise - respectful and kind service from the staff, fun window plants, solid menu options. price *could* be lower but it's in downtown so I understand. plus, i only spent $11.50 (including tip) on a slice of cheesecake & a medium chai. sooooo im pretty happy - moderate noise in the background from the air circulation system, if ambient noise is a problem 4 u please bring headphones. will probably come back here to study and do homework at some point. (With headphones) 4.5/5

The customer service here was AMAZING. I was looking for a fruity drink for my friend and I, and the lady upfront offered that she can make a custom drink with mixes of various syrup flavors that can fufill the fruity flavor (which is very much did)! she made a raspberry and another fruity syrup that made a very pretty pink color that was mix with a carbonated drink. IT WAS DELICIOUS. The next drink she made me a banana coconut carbonated drink that was even better. The customer service and drinks I received here was just perfection.
