Excellent place to hang, highly recommended. A refuge for the lost safe harbor for the lonely, and relief for the caffeen deprived. Atmosphere is curated in the moment by personable professionals from an eclectic vinyl collection

The warmest coffee shop in the Portland area that should turn into an institution eventually. Amazing bagels stacked with homemade sauces, homemade deserts available, handcrafted items to nibble on, and a vast array of items from local bake shops. I visit every day and it is worth it, I couldn't see going anywhere I'd feel more welcomed and known.

This place is great. Nice place to grab breakfast on a weekend morning. Took our boys there and they loved it, and the person working was super nice. I'm sure we'll head there again.

Highly skilled baristas that are genuine in their humanity. Owner is one of the best people I have met in Portland. They will remember your drink no matter how complicated, and have an ever expanding assortment of choices. Wish they were open all day, as I would visit more often.

We walked 3 mi headed toward Flipside. It was raining and cold and so we really enjoyed getting out of that. The latte was perfect. The crema wasn’t bitter and the taste of the latte was so smooth. Plus they had star war music playing on the record player:)!!

Traveling thru Portland and I had a sincerely positive experience at Flip Side this morning. I had the Otherside Bagel, with drip coffee, and it was so good! It was the perfect way to spend my morning. I got to chat with the staff and the store owners and I learned so much about the area and events in the surrounding city. After hearing that they turn the cafe into a bar at night, I am definitely coming back to this wonderful establishment again before I leave town in a couple days. Thank you, everyone at Flip Side, for giving me an authentic Portland experience. Happy days! 😊

One of the coolest places in the area. Great vibe and great service. The baked goods are stellar and mostly all gluten free. It turns over to a bar at 3:30PM and they have live music shows most days of the week.

Marigold coffee, sweet music, good baristas who know how to steam, and bagel sandwiches. This café by day and venue by night is worth the stop.
My current favorite is the Turkish latte with oat milk. What a flavor experience with the espresso.
