Good dinner, nice decor. I'm a sucker for tile and adobe stucco detail in my Mexican restaurant decor, and this place charmed me as soon as I sat down. You'd never know from its unassuming position in a small strip-mall shopping center between a Bi-Mart and a laundromat!
Must be the location, but the place was nearly empty when we got there for an early dinner, and only half-full when we were leaving (around 6:30 on a Thursday) -- because the food was very good and a great value. Their happy hour menu provided my husband with a do-it-yourself combo; he ordered a 2-enchilada plate and some loaded nachos for three bucks each. I had a very unusual chile relleno stuffed with shrimp, served in a creamy slightly-sweet corn sauce with a bit of queso fresco sprinkled on top. The chile itself was huge and very fresh, and the dish as a whole was quite good.
The salsa that greeted us was a bit watery, but definitely made there in-house. Both meals (including the jalapeno slices on the nachos) lacked the heat we enjoy, but were still flavorful and well-prepared. We saw some great-looking burritoes go to a neighboring table as we were leaving, and judging by the sizzling we heard around us, the fajitas are a house favorite. I'm sure we'll be back, and not just because the place is a few blocks from home.
The bar seems popular and well-stocked, and separates the smaller of two dining areas from a small corner of lottery machines.
Better than some. Even though this is a small chain, it's pretty good. Fresh tortilla's are made right on the property and you can buy them buy the dozen.
I've been in this parking lot a few times over the years and never stopped here.
The full service Mexican restaurant in the shopping center used to belong to them also, but now it's run by someone else.
Today I grabbed a burrito, and boy am I glad I did. The service was friendly, the meat is tender, and the hot sauces are excellent. Two thumbs up.
They also have a deal here for two tacos and a beer for five bucks but I'll have to come back and try...
Delish food. And the margaritas! So yummy. Currently restaurant is under remodel. Idk why. It looked awesome before.
Not bad for a small restaurant, the staff is friendly and the food never fails me. It always comes out hot and very fresh.

Very small establishment with slot machines inside the food was good the slots were hitting and the people were nice
