Anchoi Vietnamese Kitchen + Bar

When it's cold outside, I tend to gravitate towards something soupy - the choice this time was pho. This place isn't too far from the office, and I thought I would try them out. What's nice is that they have a snack parking lot for customers (parking can be hard sometimes). The decor is nice and simple, with the layout spread out. I had the House Special pho (minus the tendon). The bowl came out pretty quick and was at the right temperature. The pho was decent, and the meats were tasty. The server made sure that the water glass was filled at all times. Overall, it's a decent spot to check out.

We were visiting out of town and this place was within walking distance of our hotel. This is the best pho I've had of anywhere. Service was awesome and the staff were all super attentive and nice. The restaurant was also super clean and cozy. Definitely would recommend for a quick bite to eat, especially on a rainy day.

Absolutely the best Phở in the downtown area, and probably all of Portland. We ordered the special with all types of meat, and every type was excellent in its own way. The owner was also the chef and he really cared about our experience. The grilled short ribs rice plate was tasty with really fresh and appealing vegetables. We plan to return here each time we come to Portland.

Hands down the best place for Pho, or the BBQ beef! My husband found this place almost 2 years ago, and we come back regularly. We love it so much we drive all the way from North Vancouver, WA. The house special Pho his go to, and I absolutely love the BBQ beef plate, you have to add a fried egg! It's amazing! Hubby always steals bites of mine too. Great chef, super friendly staff, and a business that needs to stay around.
