Baja Fresh

The food seems to be in the style of what you might get from a taco truck but dressed up a little. I've never had a bad meal here. Recently I had one of their chicken burritos and something about it tasted off. I picked apart the ingredients a little bit and the rice/veg were flavorful, but then the chicken was bland and had an undesirable, almost rubbery texture. Their steak tacos are great. I love the idea of a salsa bar, but the variety isn't that exciting. We'll come back.

I was extremely hungry after my workout, and was looking for something with chicken to eat. I considered to recommendations from other people, but both of them more places that did rotisserie whole chicken, and I rather like my chicken chopped and incorporated into a dish instead. They were speedy enough for a hungry person, and I got the burrito ultimo.

Nice servers. Yummy tastes. Same clean food as we've had at the Baja Fresh in Hillsboro. Sizes seemed smaller but that could be due to fact we usually omit the grilled veggies and ask for extra rice or beans instead. Works most times. We always get the chicken fajita with corn tortillas, pinto beans and rice. Salivating thinking of it. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is how hard this place is to find. Garmin or Google helped us this time. If you miss the right hand turn it's tricky to circle back round to this tucked away place in the Hollywood district. If you're looking for a sure deal without a lot of weird thrown in, you're at the right place.
