In an area with primarily the beer and a shot, margs and mules type of bar, the garrison is a fantastic craft cocktail spot run by two very passionate and welcoming individuals. Always experimenting with new ideas, they still keep a sizeable menu of classics on hand and can make you just about anything your heart desires.

Probably the best bar in St Johns. They have a really inventive rotating cocktails menu and talented bartenders. Even better, you can grab excellent pizza from next door to accompany your drinks.

The Garrison is a St John’s staple. The drinks are so good, and the proximity to a variety of food options near the patio is so convenient. Only wish they were open earlier on the weekends!

Great little spot with a handful of craft beers on tap plus some interesting cocktails. Pints appropriately priced at $4 with a shared outdoor patio/firepit next to a meatball joint. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on a sunny Saturday and look forward to returning someday soon!

Dedicated taps from a newer local Royale Brewing Company. Great space design, wonderful Roselle, the winter saison. Food can be ordered from next door dining facilities (one of them vegan) & will be delivered to you. Dog-friendly.

Had a wonderful experience here last night. Sat outside on one of their homemade picnic tables and tasted their various beers which were presented in a sturdy sampler package. Great service, beer and neighboring food. I believe a full liquor license is on the way.
Oh, and I loved the murals.
