Coopers Hall

As a wedding photographer, Coopers Hall is one of those venues you get excited for in Portland. It's not just that it's always a beautiful layout and design as-is, or that the food is always exceptional, but the space is perfect for guests and family to connect. It just "feels" Portland. One of my favorite parts of a wedding day at Coopers Hall is blending in with guests during cocktail hour, as they share laughter and tasty snacks. A quick step outside for evening photos with the couple is convenient, but most importantly, the staff and venue makes it SO easy for everyone to enjoy one another. I've photographed many weddings at Coopers Hall, and the attached photos are just from a handful!

Coopers Hall is truly a top-notch wedding venue. Jennifer was great to work with and very responsive and flexible to our needs. The food is AMAZING. We had many people tell us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. All servers and bartenders were lovely to interact with. We could not be happier with our experience with Coopers Hall. We highly recommend them for your wedding!

We were married at Coopers Hall on July 21st. We travelled from Australia for our wedding, and the team made it so easy for us to organise everything from afar. Everything was outstanding. The venue is beautiful. The staff led by Jennifer were brilliant. The cocktails and food were delicious. Our guests all commented that it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. As a chef food was a huge part of the day for us, and Coopers Hall kitchen team exceeded our expectations. Thank you so so much for having us! Highly recommend coopers hall for any and all events.

Coopers Hall is a beautiful event space with an incredible events team! We worked with Jennifer for a 120+ cocktail reception and seated awards dinner, and it was not only a successful and smooth event, but she was prompt and thorough with all communication, organized, and accommodating. Would 100% recommend, and make sure you try their wine!

Picking Cooper’s Hall as our wedding venue was the best decision we made for our wedding. Not only was the team absolutely amazing, but they helped me through all my most stressful moments! A BIG thank you to the Coopers Hall team. The book launch event was one of the top three nights of my life and your team made it so special! From the planning process to the preparation of the event, I felt like I was supported every step of the way. I cannot stress how much it meant to me to have Claudia and Hannah there on the day of. As you know, the original event was scheduled for February, and due to weather, we had to postpone. It was very heartbreaking to have to reschedule the event, but the event in April surpassed all of my wishes and dreams. Please thank the team so much for everything that they did. So many of my guests said it was one of the best parties they’ve been to and the staff was so welcoming and wonderful. Kudos to you and your team!

If I could give Coopers Hall more stars, I absolutely would. From planning to execution the entire team was so kind and helpful, and the wedding reception we hosted went off without a hitch. The venue itself is gorgeous and requires minimal decoration, if any, and the food is absolutely incredible. I would recommend Coopers Hall to literally anybody who is planning an event.

What an incredible wedding my daughter and son- in- law had at Coopers Hall in 2/2023. To begin, the wedding coordinator, Jane, was phenomenal. She was so competent, calm and kind and made it so easy for us to relax and thoroughly enjoy the day! The food was absolutely incredible as well. We had an assortment of steak and chicken with brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and salad and every single item was mouth watering and prepared to perfection! We had the talented Mimosa Flower Co make the venue extra beautiful as well and we could not be happier how the whole day/ evening turned out!! We recently celebrated our wedding at Coopers Hall, and the day was nothing short of amazing. From the planning and the attention to detail, to the level of customization and care; this was truly an amazing experience. We felt thoroughly taken care of during the months leading up to our wedding, both comfortable and stress-free the entire time. This is all thanks to the event team and entire staff at Coopers Hall — absolutely top notch from start to finish. The aesthetic at Coopers Hall is both unique and inviting; perfect for chill evenings or events, and especially for gorgeous photos during your visit. The interior space feels like a sassy interior designer and worldly sommelier collaborated to create the ideal PNW experience... with a dash of warm light and cozy vibes. Their entire menu will force you to rethink why you would ever cook at home, and you'll spend very little time talking amongst friends until the food is gone. More than just an honorable mention, Coopers Hall signature wines are worthy of a flight across the country (or further), and will convert non-believers into full wine connoisseurs. Start with flights, leave with growlers; rinse and repeat. Whether you're looking to host a special event or simply an evening out, Coopers Hall should be at the top of your list. 🥂

I am a Sept. 2022 bride coming off of an amazing wedding at Coopers Hall. When I tell you that our friends and family will NOT stop talking about the venue, food, and wine, I am not exaggerating. We are still getting notes from our guests. Specifically, people have noted that they have never had food at a wedding of this quality, that the space is big enough for a party yet feels incredibly intimate, and that the Coopers Hall staff is lovely, professional, and knows exactly what they are doing. Coopers Hall is like having the convenience of an old school banquet hall, but super chic. I also must shout out Jane. Jane was our coordinator and I feel as though I’ve made a lifelong friend with her. From the moment we first met with Jane, we were totally sold on Coopers. She is so organized, accommodating, and was such an integral part of our big day. Jane was the reason we knew Coopers Hall was the right venue for us, and we cannot imagine our wedding without her.
