How can you resist food this good! Pierogis, Bigos and Hunter Stew, Kielbasa, Stuffed Cabbage, and a wonderful list of soups. Many Polish Beer choices, and acceptable house wines, add to the enjoyment. You cannot beat these prices. I had a bowl of pick soup (yes, pickle soup, and it was awesome), two generous stuffed cabbage leaves of smokey ground meat, and two glasses of white wine for $15. Bought links of homemade kielbasa on the way out. This is a membership only community restaurant, but membership is inexpensive and offers lot of amenities. This is a delightful and homey cafe, which I have returned to three times now. Highly recommended.
Last Friday we met some friends and had delicious food at Grandpa's. You can't ask for better service or tastier food.
Grandpa cafe had the best polish authentic food in Portland . You won’t find it anywhere else. It’s freshly cooked and served and there’s also lots of polish traditional caned and packed variety of foods. Thank u for being the best . Come early to avoid the wait at check out .
If you want a different cultural experience and simply want a truly authentic one, then this is your place. The menu is simple, they take *cash* only, and are open only on Friday evenings and Sunday days. Very nice, but can fill up fast. Great authentic Polish beer and food for all - including a small assortment of grocery items to take home.
Good food can't get any better Polish food than there
Great food, and Staff is Amazing. Best place to eat and socialize, and learn about Polish History.
Grandpa’s cafe👍👍👍Very good.
Good food. It will never be famous for its service, but the staff is friendly. Definitely worth a trip.
Polish food; tasty, not fancy, cheap, unapologetic. I love it.
