Love this place. They're always very prompt with their services and the prices are very reasonable. On saturdays the sushi on the belt are on $1.10.
This is not fine-dining sushi, so keep that in mind when you visit. The sushi is tasty, and service is fast. The "hot" items are generally warm at best. However, they are always willing to reheat the item for you. Local tip: If the hot items doesn't have a lid, it is very fresh. Their cooked food, is decent as well and very fast. If you're looking for a quick in/out meal during your lunch break, this place is a must-dine. If you are looking for the $10/plate, gourmet sushi sit-down experience; you will be disappointed.
This is hands down the best conveyor belt sushi in Portland. Plus they make some tasty creations to order as well. My favorite thing is the tiger roll(eel and soft shell crab) and is less than $10. The plates on the track are cheaper than anywhere else too. The best part is this place has been around for 15 years, and with the recent remodel looks brand new. Come say hi to Mr Lee, you won’t be disappointed!
If you order their rolls off of the board they are really good. Dragon roll, i think that's the name, is amazing! Service is good, not much choice on the belt. Go for the rolls. Im not a fan of actually watching sushi being made but its worth it so i come back anytime i can
I love dragon roll, flat tire roll, rainbow roll, creamy scallops, salmon roe. Their sushi materials are really fresh. I mean super fresh, and price is reasonable.
Hint: if you eat their rainbow slowly, you will be surprised that the roll has a mysterious "rainbow" taste, and it is different from other sushi restaurants' heavy teriyaki sauce usage. 5 star, hidden location.
I had five plates. All in all, it was decent sushi. You can get in and out super fast, because you just walk in, get a seat, and immediately start eating. As another reviewer mentioned, some of the plastic covers are a little filmy. I love sushi - it doesn't have to be a fine dining experience. The speed/value of eating here is is biggest draw. If they wanted to class it up, they could switch to glass/ceramic plates and covers.
