This is a great place. If you want good real olive oil like you had in Europe, go here. Fantastic bread. Great butcher, meat and fish. Cheese, produce, pasta, and on and on. If you are looking to make that gourmet dinner, head here. The only reason they are not 5 stars is their checkout now. Each time it will ask you for a tip and well, why not pay your workers better and then leave the tip off? Many people feel forced to hit that tip button and it is not needed.

Excellent produce, and the dry goods shelves/meat & cheese counters have endless treasures. I can't resist the Napoleons and the lasagna in the deli case. Arrosto inside does an amazing roast chicken dinner with salad, potatoes and heavenly foccacia that is a good value. Love having this spot with walking distance!

This is the best quality food in town… Rubinette curates the produce and, if I don’t make the farmers market, I’m able to find what I missed here… also the butcher offers the finest options for beef and pork… and the cheeses and salamis… i spend all my money here as it is expensive, but I feel fantastic from it

This place is a gem. The massive selection of deli foods including cured meats, cheeses and salads makes it a stop just for that. Fresh fruits and vegetables of pretty high quality. I mean they let me try a delicious strawberry and it blew up in my mouth. The pasta they make is great for fresh dishes. And the samples! They are not shy in letting you try before you buy. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to enjoy market experience. The restaurant I hear has good food but I haven't had it yet. I always come back because this is the main place I get my guanciale for my carbonara! Wonderful staff and atmosphere.

I love Portland! Lol. You can count on places like this everywhere you go. “Places like this” meaning… - Fresh foods. Salads, meats, baked goods - Breakside! My BFF works there so I’m a fan of everywhere that carries it - Items/Spices/Snacks from different geographic locations - Great mix of local and mass market varieties If you drink, check out the cool wine/alcohol bar in the back! Well Hello! I have been enjoying thos outstanding store full of the best quality everything this week. I want to highlight the wonderful person at the cheese counter, cured meat counter, wine counter. All your lovely and welcoming staff are helpful and make me feel welcome. Would give more stars if I could, this place is actually the best! The cheese and chocolate selection were probably my favorite parts, but everyone was so nice and helpful. There was an amazing person with purple hair at the cheese counter today that helped my partners and I with all of our questions and let us try some super yummy cheese samples. This place was clean, very well organized, I'll admit its layout isn't great for a lot of people being in the store at once, but that was really the only issue I had. I could see a lot of people wanting to complain about pricing, but that's just the cost of getting high quality products from small businesses.
