Lovely little cafe right across the Portland bridge conveniently located in downtown. The staff is very kind and judgment free, they are very welcoming to all walks of life which I really appreciate. Coffee quality is great and they have a good selection of teas to choose from! I find this coffee shop my favorite to do laptop work at as it is not as busy/loud as other places.

My husband and I recently visited Lotus and Bean on vacation. This was by far our favorite coffee shop that we went to and we went to several! The staff was super friendly and helpful! The coffee itself tastes amazing. Very rich and not too strong. I got the strawberry shortcake, it was delicious.

Two girls are cheery and get your coffee and sandwiches quickly, not much of wait. They are gracious enough to allow us have our pastry.along with our coffee and croissant egg sandwich with veggie meat. It is small and intimate, like the atmosphere.
