I recently hosted a little birthday get together at There Be Monsters and it was delightful! The owner, Don, communicated with me in advance about utilizing the back room, our party ended up just chilling in the spacious main area, but the back room is very cool. Great long-track shuffleboard table. The drinks were good, staff was friendly, and the happy hour food was a really solid value. Also nice to see a bar that still actually does pitchers. Highly recommend.

This has the kind of old school vibe that makes you want to sit in the corner and drink whiskey. The bartender was seriously on point! The dessert we had was incredible and the bar was sparkling with ambiance. I always forget that monsters is right across from Revolution Hall but I will be going back in the near future for sure!

The bartender June is a bird expert who even has contributed a beautiful taxidermied bird that he ensured was sourced ethically and not hunted to the decor. We really enjoyed his hospitality as well as the lovely feel of this place. 5 stars.

We had a minor snafu with our order that was not our server's fault, but she took care of it anyway. Laura or Lauren maybe? Great service!
We had the huntress elk burger special and the four cheese bacon truffle mac and cheese special, and Wow. Both of these dishes were spectacular. I like the approach of having just a few dishes, and knocking them out of the park.

I really like this spot. The bartenders were great and there's a nice variety of drink options and British food. The fish and chips are delicious. Most importantly, there's free shuffleboard.
