I really appreciated how careful they were when I mentioned I'm very sensitive to caffeine, and asked for a herbal tea. They made sure I didn't get any caffeine in my tea, and just were very attentive to that. Tea comes individually wrapped and the cups are single use so no significant risk of getting caffeine. Not sure this applies to other people except that the staff is thoughtful in general. The wifi connection was also good.

This is a fun location of Jim & Patty's Coffee People. Inspired by the old "Immediate Care Center" there are a few touches of the original Coffee People in decor. This location has the pastries, coffee, espresso beverages, and shakes of the original NE Fremont store but (due to space) doesn't have hot breakfast items beyond the delightful Pig Newton biscuit offering. If you are visiting Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital, Salt and Straw, or one of the other fine local shops and restaurants around Nob Hill (Alphabet District), I'd recommend visiting this outpost over a larger, national espresso chain. My service was prompt and my beverages smooth.

I was running errands killing time waiting for my mother to finish with her Dr. appointments. So looking for something other than Starbucks I wanted to give this place a try. I went in and was greeted right away, they have many options so I was a bit overwhelmed and I think they could tell. They walked me through the menu and even described the coffee beans and told me about how they make their own chocolate as well. So of course I had to get a Mocha now. Once I made my selection of the many versions of Mocha's they offer I was very satisfied with my coffee. They make different types of chocolate to so it's not just one. The help was outstanding and the coffee was very enjoyable. Next time I am killing time I will be visiting this place again.

Part of a chain of coffee shops in the Portland metropolitan area, which once was known as Coffee People, only the name has changed. They have breakfast items, cookies, in addition to excellent coffee's, shakes, mocha's and latte's. My favorite's have always been the Black Tiger brand of either shake or mocha. Service is relatively quick and courteous.
