Stopped in because you get a kids meals free with every adult entree of $9.95 or more. The place looks like a log cabin lodge on the inside with some nice backlit images of mountains though fake windows. Mind you this is a truck stop restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding!
Quite possibly the BEST burger I've ever had. Cooked exactly as I ordered and no skimping on the toppings. The fries were possibly the best in Portland.
The kids had different things and the one which really stood out was the mac n cheese with bacon and ham diced cooked into it. It didn't stand a chance. They loved it and quickly made it all disappear.
Love this place !! The price is right for the amount of food you get and it is delicious. I love the Alaskan Cod, always cooked just right. The atmosphere, service, and cleanliness are what keeps me coming back whenever I'm in Portland....and I noticed that a lot of locals eat here too, so that's always a good sign . Thank you for such a wonderful place...
Cascade grill was nice. They seated us quickly, even when we showed up with 15 soccer kids and 20 adults. Very accommodating. Large menu, decent kids menu, and lots of choices. Food was cooked pretty fast, and everything tasted great. Friendly service and clean restrooms.
It was a nice little breakfast dinner. The food was good but nothing that will stand out over a typical breakfast joint. The waitress was kind and checked on me appropriately. The food was decently priced for Portland except the drinks. Nearly 5 dollars for drip coffee is kinda steep.
Heather S was an amazing server. Great big smile and happy to accommodate some special requests. The second night we ate there I had the beef stew with salad and dinner rolls. It was literally like my grandma used to make.
My partner had ground sirloin steak with a baker and that delectable tomato soup. We also tried a kids order of Mac n cheese!! You must have this!! So delicious!! We were so stuffed, but there was one more thing we had to try. .. Apple crisp and vanilla ice cream. We loved every bit of it. There were a couple of take-home boxes, lol. We left so stuffed. This is a great spot . It's an upscale, very cool, modern truck stop. This is now a family favorite!! . We will go back!
Alway such amazing atmosphere. Service is always great and food is delicious. Would recommend everything on the menu and definitely a must stop when in Portland Oregon.
I had the Chopped Steak and my wife had the meatloaf dinner. My chopped steak was very tasty and seasoned but it had way too much grease but even so it was still yummy. The mashed potatoes were extremely delicious. My wife said the meatloaf was fantastic but she would have preferred it to have a ketchup base instead of a brown gravy base. But maybe it's a west coast thing.
My biggest complaint would be the price. It was all far over priced. The cost was a little over $50 for two simple dinners. Even steak dinner's don't cost that much at like the Outback. But it is what it is. And if you want to spend that much then you actually will get a nice tasty dinner here. The food is good.
Loved this place! My co worker and I stopped here on our road trip and needed to charge our phones and the waitress accommodated our request. We were able to sit wherever we chose and loved how the place looked. Very large and they even had Pepsi instead of coke lol. Very nice waitresses and very fast service. I would go here again.
Some how we always get the same server she is adorable she is funny fast and friendly you can tell she is a people person and loved her job. Always recommends delicious choices
She dressed as a cat for Halloween fit her personality. The chicken pasta is so yummy huge portions.
Excellent service and great food at a respectful price. My steak and eggs were perfectly prepared and quickly served.
I just have to say Oh My Goodness!!! This place is beyond 5 stars. So we started out with the spinach and artichoke dip with their homemade tortilla chips. The chips were great by themselves and the dip was awesome. It had big chunks of artichokes and spinach, had the perfect amount of shredded parmesan cheese on top. It was so creamy and thick that it stuck to the chips perfectly. Then we ordered the Jubitz Jumbo Burger. This 1lb beauty was cooked to absolute perfection (I like mine medium rare). It was so juicy, the seasonings were on point, and the toppings were fresh. The Sriracha mayo gave it just enough of a kick while the smoked gouda and the caramelized red onion balanced everything out. The bottom bun did get a little soggy and this burger is a bit messy (partially due to size), but other than that it was delicious! The fries it came with were cooked perfectly. The seasonings they use were great. They had a bit of a crunchy outside while the inside was still very soft. Great flavor! Finally, we ordered dessert. I had the molten chocolate lava cake and my husband had the cheesecake with marionberry drizzle. The lava cake was mouthwatering! The cake was light and airy with a rich chocolate flavor. The whipped cream they used was absolutely the best I've ever had. It wasn't oily and it had a great flavor. The molten chocolate used was delectable. The cheesecake was creamy and delicious. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The decor was beautiful and not too overwhelming. It was a bit pricey but worth every cent. 💯 recommend this place
Marilyn is absolutely wonderful server she made us feel like family
