Burger Stevens

So surprised, the best Burger ever. Fries no salt pretty tasty. On the burger was American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, special sauce. Great service outdoor seating. Forgot to mention, I was treated so dont know how much the cost was.. AND, the burger WAS not greasy...crispy around the edges.. I know along ways to drive for a great roadside burger, but it was worth it. Right off of Capitol highway south of downtown Portland, Oregon. FYI Heard they were going to close this site, TOO BUSY! My friend asked them, she couldn't believe the answer..they have 2 other sites, downtown Portland, but couldn't remember the last, I will find out, let you know.

Stopped by after exercise class on the way home to check out the burgers. Waited ~10 min or so for them to open the window and take the order and then they said it was going to be another 20 min (this at 1:15 pm). Ordered both the cheese burger and double and small fries. Waited the 20 min and got the burgers and yes, they are very good. Nicely toasted bun, juicy protein done just right, lots of pickles and thick slices of tomato, a little onion but skimpy (unbalanced given the size) on the lettuce. Overall a very good burger, certainly better than Shake Shake (NY) or Super Delux (PDX) and on par with In-&-Out (SoCal) but not as big as Killer Burger or some of the brick-mortar PDX restaurants. The fry's were good, but some PDX places have better by our tastes. So for the money this place has a very good burger but nothing we would drive/wait 1 hr to have. Nicely done, but their marketing has gotten ahead of their capacity. We were told they just got slammed with online orders to the detriment of those who physically came to get lunch only to wait 30+ min for a late lunch - some folks just walked away without ordering.

This place is certainly one of my top 10 places to get a burger in the area. Their creations contain thick, juicy, and flavorful patties that are cooked to perfection. The other ingredients (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles) seemed of good and fresh quality, yet were not proportioned in excess to overwhelm the burger. Pricing is about average for food trucks in the area, with a burger and fries running about $10. The staff is friendly.

One of the best burgers I've ever had! I got the cheeseburger and added an egg to it, absolutely fantastic. The burger has a perfect balance of vegetables and it's juicy but not greasy while also crispy. So many wonderful flavors hit your taste buds all at once. I considered giving them a 3 or 4 star rating because of the service and if it where a restaurant where I expect good service I would have but the burger is too damn good that I don't care that they ignore you because they're chatting about personal stuff.
