The steak and eggs were delicious! It would have been perfect if the steak came a little bit bigger although the price would not have been the same.

Potato pancakes - great. Stuffed hashbrowns - great. waitress - great. service - great. Nothing bad to say about our breakfast here. Very filling for our hike of Mt Hood.

The hollandaise sauce on my Eggs Benedict was lacking the tang as if there were no lemon juice in the ingredients.
Other than that it was a decent breakfast but a bit spendy. But what can you expect in a liberal city that mandates ultra high minimum wage and forced benefits. I don't blame the restaurant for that. I digress.
I would go back if in the area.

Service is consistently good, so is the food. Except steaks. It's a coin flip whether the steak comes out perfectly cooked to order, or tough and bloody. I think they struggle with medium rare.

Nice family restaurant. Clean and nice looking building. Staff were great. I think the manager was walking around checking on people and helping out as well which is nice to see. I believe it might be connected to the hotel next door which is convenient. Honestly if I lived here, I would want to work here lol. Also, we didn't spend as much as we usually do dining out for our family of 4 which is nice. We will be back if we're ever in the area again!

We have been meaning to get to this place for a while now and it finally happened!
Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and was delighted with the food.
My husband's favorite is a good Ruben and this was relatively solid in his opinion. I had a German pancake with blueberries and banana which was delicious.

This time the waitress asked me if I was okay like 5 x through the meal. A bit much, felt like she wanted me to leave. I wanted to say, can I have a chance to chew. 🙄otherwise Consistently good food.

Elmer's is absolutely excellent. As far as restaurants go it is excellent the cost was good I've had food there for breakfast that I didn't even know existed. And it was awesome. Definitely definitely definitely recommend going there. Did I say definitely, well I meant definitely. Never had a German pancake before, never had stuffed hash browns. But man were they good.
