A great place to watch a Niners game. Food is very good, good beer selection and a friendly staff.

Wonderful dive bar on steroids. It's a big spot and would be great for the guys getting together for the game. Decent TV's, good selection of bar food, inexpensive place to eat. Service was a little scarce when we were there

Bang Bang Niner Gang...Wooden Chicken was great on this full on day of football all over Portland. Even though the Niners torched my 🦅🦅🦅 last week, it's all good. Spent 1/2 my life in the Bay Area so I'm an honorary Californian. Great wings, great crowd, great service. The 4/5 on food was for very disappointing clam strips though, and a friend had an eventful BLT. All good though, will definitely be back there too.

It's a great place for chicken and fries, hand-breaded with care, deep fried to perfection, and served piping hot! It was our first time there, and we will definitely be coming back for more! Their beer selection is also great, and I recommend getting a couple to cool your mouth and please your stomach!

We just stopped in for a beer but the atmosphere was super chill so we had some appetizers and shot pool and played the lottery. Lottery could have gone better lol, but we did enjoy our time here.

Words do not do any justice to how juicy and well meranated the Buffalo chicken strip were. You get 2 well sized strips just lathered in there. What I assume to be homemade Buffalo sauce?
That plate alone was just under $10. Drinks always slapped as well. TVs all around to give you that ESPN feel. Pool tables and Lotto machines were the cherry on top. Whether it's for lunch or dinner or catching the fights, You won't go wrong stopping at The Wooden Chicken.

If you Love the 80s, then this is your spot. TV on sports ,music from the 70s and 80s. The Foods is good to almost great 👍. Chicken Cordon blue bites and all. Staff and chef are great.Go and have some fun.
