The ladies were very polite and smiled the entire time. I was made welcome. That goes a long way in my book. we had three different dinners made for us. The Saag Paneer, Shahi Paneer, and the Aloo Matter(Vegan) all three were spot on. I would recommend this place and return. It is hard to find decent food at a fair price in the PNW. Do stop in if you feel in the need for decent Indian food. Thank you New Taste of India for a delightful meal.
We were unaware there was no indoor seating for the dinner hour when the whole family rolled up for my son's birthday! But we ordered take-out and went home to eat it. The young lady taking our order was friendly, and the food was prepared pretty quickly. It was all very fresh and wonderful!! Large portions meant we had a lot left over for lunch the following day. Will definitely dine there again!
I've been coming here for a long time, the quality is consistently fantastic and so flavorful. My favorite is the Dahl tarka and chana goa, definitely my favorite comfort meal when i want to treat myself. Staff are always friendly too.
Postscript - After a day in my fridge, the leftovers tasted very well seasoned! I guess the seasoning needed a little more time to develop.
First time and dine-in. Very generous portions - enough for two meals. Service was courteous and attentive. Very pretty inside with a painted mural. Food was good My only issue was that I felt the food overall was somewhat underseasoned - I'm used to more spices. I'll try a curry dish next time.
There is plenty of parking available.
You can only dine in during lunch hours unfortunately. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is average. They have a good selection between vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Mango lassi is what I was DESPERATE for after three days in bed w food poisoning. The only thing that sounded good — or even keep-down-able. The first restaurant I tried handed me a pre-fab one in a plastic bottle from a factory. It was kind of warm. I was very sad.
So I came here, next closest, after calling to make sure it wasn’t bottled. They said they made it here. It’s COLD. Better. The lady at the counter was so nice (and the a.c. too!🥵) that I ordered food as well, and am enjoying the nice cool room and listening to the little kids from a huge Indian family chasing each other around the otherwise empty dining room in the midternoon sun. Ahh…here’s my food — time to go!
I've been a fan of this place for a few years now. Never disappointed, as their dishes are so consistently good. The Goa curry is the bomb, but really there isn't anything that you could go wrong ordering. I'm not very close to the restaurant, but it is definitely worth the drive. Having been deprived for a while due to the pandemic, I am ecstatic that they have been open for a while now.
Had the lunch thali plate. Portions were generous, service was friendly and very quick. Food seemed fresh and we were provided with nice chutneys to accompany. We will definitely be back.
Great food. It's spendy, so do it right after pay day, but it's delicious. I had the Masala curry with Lamb. They have a ton of options to make these delicious curries, and be ready to take notes if you ask because the $10 lunch special is well worth the money!
The Samosas were great, nan tasted fresh, sauces and rice all good. The okra plate wasn’t the most flavorful, I feel it lacked sauce. We also got a creamy lamb plate that was really good. My one complaint is that the prices were off. Online photo menu was inaccurate for each plate 1-3$. Those types of things make the energy of a location feel dishonest. I expected to pay $38, I paid closer to $49 for 2 entrees, 1 samosa order, 2 orders of nan.
