These folks have the most amazing muscles in romesco with french fries on top situation in the world. I try to eat muscles wherever I go and I've never found them this good anywhere. They're perfectly tender, nicely plump, there's never a closed/dead one, and they taste lightly of fresh salt water. And there are SO MANY! Like 15-25 of them. For only $15. P.S. take your leftover romesco to go and dip some toast in it at home. Yum!

We landed in Portland late last night, craving a burger and found them on Yelp. The burger was amazing, their olives were excellent, and our waitress was super friendly. Excellent job guys!

Phenomenal. Everything was excellent. Gluten free fried chicken is especially wonderful! And the cocktail I had was my favorite cocktail I’ve ever had anywhere.

Cocktails are $10-15. We sat outside. The tent could use an upgrade but it's nice to have the pet-friendly space. Our server was young and pretty unsure of herself but nice. She never remembered to refill our water carafe. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. Wouldn't need to go back unless we were close by

Some good friends told us this was one of their go to spots and now we know why. Excellent food and cocktails and pleasant service for a price that seems more than fair. Pictured is the fried chicken and the pork chop on hazelnut romescu. Both were delicious and the sauces for both were stellar. Also thought the Yukon potatoes that were deep fried whole were delectable. We started with a side of gf breaded and deep fried broccoli with a remoulade sauce. The cocktail pictured is the “Back in the Tall grass” a gin, lime, Campari and tonic concoction and those are cucumber water ice cubes in it. So refreshing! I think you may be getting the picture: we have a new “go to” to add to our familiar haunt list. Thanks Wilder!

This place is a bedrock Portland neighborhood restobar having just reached its 10-year anniversary. Unlike many other places it has taken the energy of its foundation and maintained it with an eye on unpretentious (yet actually gourmet and locavore) fare and a very solid bar situation at a great price point. The staff seem happily connected to each other and their customer the vibe is consistently warm and inviting in any weather.

Does it get any better than a warm meal with cocktails and cozy vibes at Wilder? On rainy Portland nights, I’m hard-pressed to think of another place that I’d rather be… The waiters/waitresses are always so kind and knowledgeable. Hands down, Wilder is our favorite neighbor bar & eatery.

We’ve come here a few times and the food is excellent! The fried chicken is really tasty, but they do put a sweet sauce on it. Next time I’ll ask for them to leave it off. The broccoli appetizer was amazing!

Lovely experience several nights in a row. Staying in the neighborhood for a week while displaced from our home. Bistro Salad with the Harissa Chicken one of the best ever. Classic and custom cocktails both excellent. Friendly, comfortable, charming.

We’ve been here a couple times now and each time it’s been great. The food is amazing and the service is friendly and professional. A well done space and some outdoor patio seating is available. Highly recommend.

IMO, Wilder is such a hidden gem in NE Portland. Those around Concordia know it well and love it. I always enjoy the food and the Frere Conte is my favorite cocktail in all of Portland. It’s a great, cozy spot for date nights.
