I do like this place, and I'm glad it's in the neighborhood. That being said, I want to bring to someone's attention that drink quality GREATLY depends on who is working that day.
There is one staff member who I'm starting to turn around if I see her working, because I know I'm in for a watered down drink and bad service. However, the brunette with lots of tattoos is amazing-- She's attentive and makes the best drinks around. Please have her train some of your other staff!

Great ambiance; nuanced, well balanced coffee. My favorite place in the new neighborhood, and there's tons of competition. They also take cash which is a huge perk for us that dont always use traditional banking.

My partner and I liked the coffee here so much, we came back to buy a bag of beans from them! When we visited the other day, we asked what they had going for drip because we were looking for roasters in the PDX area that offered single origin coffee. The flavor profile the staff described for the drip that day was accurate, and it tastes just the same at home.
The cafe itself is a bit small but has adequate space for people to get around if it gets a little crowded. We didn't get any food, so we can't comment on that.

Our first coffee roaster in Portland - Futura Coffee Roaster which focuses on not only quality but also soil generation. The decor is artsy with cozy ambiance and the latte was rich & creamy.

They advertise a focus on sustainability, which is awesome! I had my own cup and asked them to let me finish my current coffee so they could pour my latte into my cup. They didn't wait and I'm unsure as to why. The cinnamon bun was tasty.

Quiet neighborhood coffee shop. Beautiful rough hewn tables and clean decor. Good service at the counter and the bevs were delicious. Just steps away from the Rosa Parks Max site, it’s a welcome addition to the Arbor Lodge neighborhood.
