The food here is sooo good. Really fair prices too. Sweet environment. Celebrated my birthday here and I could not feel more feted. Mmmmmmmmmmm
Cute Place. Cute Thai restaurant with a lot of fun menue choices. Good service, good food and good prices. This is a great place for a lunch break during the week.
Awesome Thai food in St Johns. YUM YUM YUM. I have used their delivery service too!
Typical good Thai food, better than Typhoon.
Happy Buddha Belly. We discovered this quaint little place in the heart of St. Johns while picking up some photos down the street. And I must say; Im glad we did. My Panang Curry was loaded with white meat Chicken, heat index was right where I requested it to be, and all the veggies were fresh and crunchy with just enough Kaffir Lime Leaves to bring the overall flavor to where it should be. It was a very good Curry. The Fox had an order of their Drunken Noodles with Tofu, she thought it was the cats pajama's. Top it all off with a delicious (and huge) Thai Iced Tea and Id say the two of us were rather pleased with our rainy day lunch at Thai Cottage.
Grade: B+ (the Soup was lite and dancing with flavors, spring rolls were fine)
Awsome Food. Ok if you want a menu you can go to their website www.thaicottagepdx.com. I recommend their food. I have been going their once a week for the last 2 weeks and both dishes have been the best around. I had the Pineapple fried rice and the Gaeng Mussamun Curry. Excellent. The lunch price start at 7 and go from their. Also their menu is confusing however once you understand it its a breeze.
Incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly servers and staff.
Crab puffs that actually taste like crab, and not just cream cheese!
Our order arrived hot and ready in a remarkably short amount of time.
Delicious Yellow Curry and Pad Garlicky (although my Thai Hot could have been hotter!).
I see that others have had less than satisfactory meals here, but from our visit, I see nothing to complain about. Either they've addressed the issues mentioned previously, or our experience was anomaly. Somehow I doubt that.
A little out of the way for us, but good to know there's a place in St. Johns that makes some darn good Thai food.
We've ordered take out a few times; tonight was first time eating in. It was comfortable & relaxing. There were several tables with 2 people conversing quietly. Music was pleasant & not too loud. Woman working all the tables was so friendly, cheerful, and fast. We felt welcome and cared for. She checked on us twice, which was perfect for our small meal...it didn't feel like too much or not enough. Food was hot and quite delicious. We'll be back again. Thank you!
Everything I’ve ordered fro
Thai Cottage is sooo tasty. I love their green curry and recently got the duck noodle soup. 10/10! Duck is juicy and broth is very rich. Such good flavor and the people are so kind! Highly recommend.
Our server was extremely nice and friendly. The place is very small and I think we came at the right time where we had the place to ourselves. I really appreciated the appetizers they had offered as well as a variety of wok, noodle, curry and salad meals. I ended up ordering the Pad Phet Eggplant with beef and mild on the spice, something I had never tried before and it was surprisingly delicious. I would definitely recommend it! One thing I would wish they had done was provide us with more rice since it felt our ratio for our meals wasn't enough.
Unassuming hidden gem. 💎 Delectable curries, rice and noodle dishes. Wish I’d gotten better pics of the food but I was too busy eating. Surprised it’s not always packed.
This is a hidden gem! While their menu has all you need from a Thai restaurant, the flavors are incredible. We ordered the Pad See Ew (one with pork, the other with tofu) and as always did not disappoint.
Wonderful and friendly service with the best tofu Khao Soi soup I have ever had. Great pick-me-up on a cold day!

Excellent food. Affordable prices. Courteous server. Offers gluten free choices. White rice just like I crave. Enjoyed my food. Taste treat. Aftermath: So far. So good. Atmosphere is comfortable and uncluttered. Acoustics created space where privacy felt respected. Recommend, but leave a booth for me.
Quick and easy Lunch
I stopped into the Thai Cottage last year with business colleagues from EVRAZ Portland. This was their goto lunch place and they said I would not be disappointed if I ate there and they were right. I was actually on my way to the airport to catch an afternoon flight but decided to skip eating at the airport and to eat here instead. Nestled into a nice strip of shops and businesses with a yellow storefront, it was easy to find. Parking was only available ion the street but was easily found.
The restaurant inside is not a big place but there ample enough space for about 30 people to eat at once time. It is a family run place and the people that own and run the restaurant treat you very well like you're part of the family. The smell when you walk in is very inviting, you can smell meat cooking, the species, the broths, and you know before you even sit down the food is going to be fantastic. We ordered a couple of appetizers, and for my main course, I ordered a curry chicken dish. The broth was fantastic, and very savoury, while not too harsh on the spiciness. The broth had a good texture to it and was easy to eat with a side of rice. This wasn't a huge portion size, hence very good for lunch. The service was great, the food, at least what I had was very good, and very good value for what I paid for it. I would eat there again.
Very attentive cashier/server. Good pad Thai, try the duck curry, and crab Rangoon
